I have the earlier version, the SuperPop. Was blessed to get it sale for $70 and am still using and loving it. I'll definitely get a Poseidon when the SuperPop dies on me!
I want to know if this is a “vent free” dryer like the Morus. Morus makes that claim but they are not on this product. It does not appear to require a venting hookup but you never know. I did email them and will be awaiting the response. I wish they would make it easier for the customer and just come out and answer this concern in the product advertising.
Because ours is not a large family size dryer, you can vent into the air you don't need a vent to the outside. Unless theirs is a condensing dryer it would have to vent into the air. It's best to ask them we don't want to speculate as the Morus is not our product. Thank you for asking.
I received one without expecting. It is quite ample, generous in load capacity, considering it is a portable machine. Caution it washes the clothes and you can also use it to give it a rinse cycle with fabric softener if preferred, yet the water can only be drained out not centrifuged (fast spinning) . There’s no fast spinning cycle (centrifuge) in order to properly get the most water. That said it is excellent for garments that are not too heavy. I Im Or if you are capable of squeezing out excess water with your own hands, you can even wash bluejeans! Hope this is helpful info to someone.
It's nice, but I advise you to go with the fully automatic portable washer. This uses considerably more water and then you have to spin out the clothing as well. Or try the Niagara tumble washer. Cleans really well with less water use.
I love my panda spin dry..My 12 years old son used it and it has auto time shut off so I'm not worried about it stop or not, and I can use it for hours not worry about the electric gonna burn all the rubber or heating any rubber parts.
If you were to re-do this test it would be interesting to weigh each load when wet and then weigh each load after 4 minutes of spinning. This would measure how much water was expressed from each load.
I HAVE THE WHITE...AND O.M.G!!! IT'S AWESOME..NOT ONE DROP OF WATER ON MY THICK JEANS, SHEETS TOWELS, ETC...I HANG ON A CLOTHE LINE IN MY SPARE ROOM AND DRYS SO FAST....I'VE HAD THE WHITE ONE FOR 4 YEARS..I ALSO PUT IN THERE HEAVY THROW BLANKETS..2 OF THEM!!!!...❤ IT...
Is this the one that's advertised as 7.5 cubic feet on the website. The demsions of the washer (entire thing) don't actually end up being even 7 cubic ft. How many cubic feet is the actual drum of the machine?
I'm going to a portable washer project with a single-tub with the spin basket, and I think one agitation here would be good for a variant. But it's going to be a wash plate but the washer to look like a vintage one. its that agitator motor go back and forth like those in the way of small portables? or is it gears moving it back and forth?
Works better than the spin function in a conventional washing machine. I don't use the lever to stop the spinning since it wears down the machine. I switch off the electricity and let the spinning stop on its own.
@@Asylum1Either pulling the plug or turning off a connected surge protector. There is no separate off switch for power, the lever is for both the power and the brake. Moving the lever when the drum is still spinning strongly results in a very hard stop that wears down the brake. This refers to the Panda spin dryer. Cheers.
So far, it's the only side-by-side video on RU-vid. Agreed that he might be biased, but I'd say it was a reasonable review. He did (gently) acknowledge that the Ninja has a less powerful motor, and we saw this with the Panda putting out water first, but with both having the same spin speed it should be about the same amount of water extracted at the end.
Also, if you put a rag or towel under the front of the panda dryer under the bowl it stops it from moving and I've never experienced clothes coming out so dry after spinning in the panda . . I always push the wet clothes down before spinning so it moves less when getting started and it helps greatly . . I would never trade it in for a ninja even if it was free
I believe the man is very biased to the ninja spin dryer . . He didn't use two separate pans for each to catch water separately . . I could clearly see the panda spin dryer spinning out more water from the wet clothes . . I've had my panda spin dryer for over 6 years and it's still working great!!! .
I noticed that as well. If both truly have the same spin speed and drum size, the amount of water extracted should be the same. The wildcard is how much torque each motor has. Greater torque would mean more water sooner. Just like with a car, if two cars go 60 mph to get to a destination, the distance (amount of water extracted) will be the same. A Lambo (more torque) will be able to do 0-60 faster than an entry-level KIA (lower torque), but the time it took should be pretty darn close since both drums are the same diameter and supposedly spin at the same RPM>
I agree that he is biased, but I also believe he is correct on every issue. I have used the ninja for 4 years A LOT & would get another one if mine were to go out. Would you get another panda or try a ninja if yours goes out?
1. Never add music to any demo. Don't cover up the sounds of the washer and spinner, I want to hear them. 2. What is the load capacity in lbs? What is the cubic foot size of wash container? Spin container? 3. What is the RPM of the spin container? 4. What are the dimensions of washer? 5. What amps does it use for washing, spinning? This is useful in an RV. Ridiculous demo with no information or specs. Cannot buy.
This machine is your best bet . It holds alot and doesn't use much water to do a load. No transmission . VERY RELIABLE.The only warning is you need to clean it when it recommends in the manual to do so and maybe a bit sooner. Bio film will form over time and it will start to smell. So clean it the way the manual states and this machine should last you a long time and keep you out of that laundromat.
