Thanks for the great Tutorial! Super simple. Would love to see one where the clips are different lengths and the new one needs to be adjusted to match up again. Not sure if this is a common issue for others. (e.g. if someone had two different filmed clips of the same thing but wants to swap them out, the start and stop points might be different.)
Brilliant stuff! Love the breadcrumbs. Adding corrections before nesting is a great tip. I edit a lot of stage cams and they all have different lighting and exposure. Many thanks.
I'm having an issue during the cut between the original audio and the nested clip. Because the nested clip has studio reverb, it sounds a hair different from the original audio. Any solution?
I usually do one of two things; I either make the cut to the nested clip on a beat drop or snare hit so that the transition happens in a place where it makes sense to the music or I put a very small Crossfade usually 2 to 5 frames on either side between the audio and nested clip
This lens does not have contacts and does not have its own procesor, so it is not very good for cameras without metering for lens without procesor (i.e. Nikon D7500).
It's a fully manual, declicked lens, sir. It is not a DSLR lens. There are trade offs for all things. for the price and for video focused shooters, it's a great value. If it's not your cup of tea, that's ok too.
@@RobertMTeegarden Yes, It is fully manual lens and it is not a problem as I want to use this lens for macro. Problem is with my camera (Nikon D7500) which does not have lighy metering on such lens (even with original Nikon's lenses without CPU). I think I will leave this lens with me - I think that for the price I have paid for new with waranty (200 US dollars) I would rather buy new camera with metering instead of buying macro lens with five times bigger price. Macro lenses are priced very high and I think it is not worth to spend a lot of money for rarely used lens.
I finally get it working with my Nikon D7500 without metering with this Non-CPU lens - I forgot to switch exposure preview in Live View and additionaly a realtime histogram can be switched. After few test macro shots I must say that for the price I have paid is very afordable lens and it probably will be good enough for my needs. I was forced to buy version for videographer due to fact that a still image version is not available here in Poland. Regards.
Another top tip if you want to remove all the effects from MULTIPLE CLIPS! Simply select all the clips you want the effects to be removed > Go to EDIT TAB > REMOVE ATTRIBUTES. Done :D
09:45 If you mount the top nato rail the other way round, the little safety knob can do its job better 😉 Appreciate your video. I got the same rig. Sometimes it's just better to stay with one company throughout the product line. 👍
I rarely comment, but this was ACTUALLY awesome. You saved me so much time without requiring a lot of my time that I'm actually taking time to comment, like and subscribe. hahah What kind of voodoo is this?
1:55 wow I'm really 12 years into using Premiere and this is the first time I'm hearing that you can Shift + Option/Alt + Click Drag to select only the audio. thank you for this revelation
When the first showed off the new pop filter I thought it was great, not anymore. It’s too big. The mic itself is the best looking mic available. I can’t cover that up.
Same solution - just checked! In media pool select all clips in the folder, right click -> clip attributes -> audio. Manualy delete tracks 5-8 and after that enter the value of chanel 4.
I use project manager all the time. PLEASE Adobe, if you see this, add an option to convert the bin structure inside the project into physical nested folders in the output folder. That would allow using project manager even more for archiving jobs/projects and not losing all the carefully crafted bin structures.
@RobertMTeegarden Take it as constructive criticism. I even subscribed to your channel. All I had to say was that the commentary in between the samples makes it a little difficult to compare them.
Can i directly screw 🪛 the ssd on the opposite side of the v mount, so that the ssd doesn't stick out like a thump from the right, stays flush and clean .
A question: In OBS, can you make camera changes synchronized with the sensitivity of the microphones? I do this with 3 cameras and 2 microphones connected to a mixer. Can this be done with Atem? There are 2 of us in a podcast and we do not have the support of a third party for camera changes. We are looking to simplify the post-production process. Thanks
Great overview. When it comes to syncing in Premiere I’d use the ‘create multicam sequence clip’ function - super fast way of syncing your multi cam picture with external audio. This basically just uses the audio waveform to match everything up then when you’re on the timeline go into Multicam mode and you can essentially do a software version of live switching right there. You can also go back and tweak transition points etc if need be
Yes, I’ve used this a bunch as well but it’s not always 100% for me in the sync. Pluraleyes is generally much better to automate this part of the process but if I’m honest, most of the time a great hand clap as a cheap slate is the quickest, most reliable option since the ATEM files are already blocked together and you’re just syncing audio to them.
Hello sir can we connect 02 same rode podmic usb with same 💻 laptop for recording of podcast Can we record 02 recording from different mics connected.at same time to obs or audacity sir
Is there a reason why when I put the HDMI from the pocket black magic 4k into the ATEM Mini Pro Iso I can no longer record in 30fps only 24 fps now... ? Thanks
Great video Mahalo! So that I am clear on audio - I use the native camera audio that is output with the hdmi feed as a way to sync with the zoom recorder output, and then mute the cam audio in post.
