The guy I was dating for two years before I became ill (at 23) broke up with me when my eating disorder became out of control. I'm now 46, and I honestly just realized yesterday that I'm over it lol I wrote this: To the one who got away, I never loved more deeply, and I was never more fully broken. I realize now how worth it it was to love so hard, and those years were honestly some of the best of my life: we learned so much and had so much fun and experienced so much. There was a time I believed that ending ended me, but I was already at the end of myself. I blamed you, but I was already broken. I realized today that I can look back at those years and still love them, without loving you. Thank-you. For all of it. And I forgive you
Welcome back, I am very happy to see you again. I am old enough to be your mom, but feel like we are friends. Your insight is valid and valuable. We (everyone) need to just talk, to be heard, to relate, especially when we have a lot of isolation. You matter, you're important even to people you don't know. That is a difficult truth to grasp, but so true. Keep trying, keep waking, stay gentle with yourself.

I can do the honouring the extreme hunger, but not allowing the weight gain, so I always quit and go back. I feel hopeless. I’m glad you’re doing so well :)
Try to convince yourself that the weight gain is good, it’s what your body needs. You can do it, I know you can. You deserve to eat and live freely. Remember that food is fuel. You are amazing and strong and you have done nothing wrong to deserve to be starved. You deserve happiness and food is happiness
I agree Elzani. I didn’t find my career. My career found me when I Was in my late 20’s. It was the last thing in the world, in fact it was the one thing I always said I never wanted to do. You are an amazing young woman. You’ve said things and done things that remind be of my daughter. She died 14 years ago from anorexia nervosa restrictive variety. She was diagnosed at age 13. I’m sorry she didn’t live long enough to meet you herself. You can and will do anything your free spirit decides to do.
You guys are all good at cooking.... look into making homemade tortillas. They are NOTHING like th thin cardboard available in many places. There's a special kind of flour used for the flour tortillas (and special corn mix for corn tortillas), and with a tortilla press (cheap), you'd be in business, and never look at store tortillas again !!
You are such an inspiration to me ! You have no idea how much influence you have! I wish I had had your videos when I was younger and suffering. I was hospitalized in the 1980’s for anorexia and it was a different experience! You are helping me now after 40 years ! Never think that you are not important, you are. Keep on doing what you do. You make a difference in so many people’s lives.
