Yeah as a male who struggles with mental health issues. I can really relate to this except that i don't talk to my "loved ones" since they will never understand anyway. So what i usually do is i try to talk to other people on the internet who understands what I'm going through instead. It's been on and off over the years.
His solo project man made sunshine has been reakly important for my mental health, it made feel seen and understood. I love that he talks about mental health issues with show openness.
I think this is the first time I read someone actually like AND appreciate Something Human. read multiple comments here and there how bad Simulation Theory is. like cmon on... give them a break. they deserve trying new sounds and instrument. you're also job hopping, why can't they do the same? at first I don't like the song too bcos of the too much synthetic sound. but the acoustic ver is way better. however, as you go thru the album again and again, the song itself is not that bad. the lyrics are just too good to pass. matt put his whole heart to write that down. I'm sure the band feel the same
I was cruising RU-vid when I found this because I"m a big Young the Giant fan. But listening to this interview, I found myself sticking around until the end. Believe me, when I say it is hard for me to sustain my interest, however, this was very well done.
God what an honor to have Flea, one of the goats, to acknowledge you’re strengths as a bassets. Fr Thunder-cat deserves it, he is a bad ass bassist through and through.
