no matter how many other videos i've seen watching others react nobody mentions one thing, the lvl of detail in the lense on the emplacement gun is nuts as you see the others running towards them.
Average space marine, Astartes, stands around 7-8 feet, some closer to 9 feet. The best of the best, Custodes, over that and Primarchs near 13 feet. They are Big. These guys, Astartes, all those guys at once against a SINGLE Custodian, would most likely die. And a SINGLE Primarch would tear a single Custodian into pieces, quite easily. Humans are cannon fodder in this universe, mere meat shields to soak the enemy forces. Powerful in their own strategies, but weak compared to the Astartes.
A custodes had his spine folded in half by 2 space marines from minotaur chapter tho and guilliman almost died to a squad of alpha region space marines(granted, he was unarmed AND unarmored)
Is it just me or does the blood liquid simulation look kinda off in this otherwise amazing render? :) I don't know how to put it but it looks too thick and floaty... almost as bad as in movies nowadays the blood splatters.
2:38 the bullets they are using are bolt rounds and are the equivalent of a .75 caliber, except they aren’t normal bullets as they are miniature rockets that embed in the target and then explode

I have been a WH fan since I was like 8 but I have always hated how astartes are depicted as slow, lumbering robots. This is what I imagine them being when I read the novels. Perfect killing machines. Im not going to pretend like I understand what the backstory of this is but I am at the edge of my seat every time I watch these videos just like allot of you reading this, and he did it without dialogue, subtitles or even human faces. This is special.
Scorn is inspired by HR Giger art so this looks like Alien-ish environment. Also i can clearly see some Starcraft influence as in the woman looks so much like kerrigan. Let’s just hope that it has an original story even if it has so much influence .
I wish the original was still up on youtube. There were a good amount of color and audio changes made to the official GW version, which I'm not a fan of. The original had this absolutely ominous outro music that really fit the scene perfectly. The color edits aren't too egregious, but they screwed with the audio a looooot, and I think you're missing out by not seeing that version.
Its around somewhere....I took a look at that one as well and its definitely the superior version. Would love some concrete facts on why some of the editing choices were made for the GW version.

So iv noticed nobody is really answering the caliber of the bolters but its a .75 caliber as someone else stated they are rocket proplled grenades at one point or another
I don't like the edits they did on the original work. The tacky background music when the Inquisitor Psyker gets possessed wasn't in the original. All you could hear was the demonic mumbling and the ambience, it set the mood and tone much better.
Someone did a video explaining every detail about the 5 episodes. They said that not only it was amazingly animated but also it is attempted to be as lore accurate as it can be.
I really enjoyed watching your reactions. I just discovered this masterpiece a few days ago and I can't stop watching. It gets better each time. What an accomplishment!
