I went to a cosmetology and got mines started small with free parts. I suppose to had went to a Loctician but she ain’t like she didn’t want to do it so I found someone else. Best decision ever I love my locs.

I do both my own and go get it done. I’m doing my hair now and styling it because I have an interview in the morning. The best advice I can tell everybody is too buy a three way mirror off of Amazon has helped me so much.

I don’t cover my locs bc I live in South Ga and it gets hot majority of the year so I use a silk pillowcase and it’s perfect 👌🏽

I LOVE IT thank you for the encouragement I’m 3months in and moms and my hair is VERY! Similar this gave me so much hope!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

I had over 300 micros and went down to about 180 ish (I combed the 300+ locs out and started the 180 with coils but interlocked for maintenance) kept the 180 for a year and combed them out because I felt like I didn’t have enough and did 250. I had those for close to a year then I started to realize my hair was thinning and found out I was pregnant on top of that so I combed em all out and went with 68 locs and am lovin it (I instant locd my hair cuz it was pretty long and I wanted to keep some length and stuff) so I did kinda cut the line in my journey. My next goal is to go copper ❤❤❤ since I’ve already colored my hair black imma bleach it tho. Anyway your locs are very beautifullll
