They told me the same. Said my hair was too thin and too fine. So I went home and started my locs myself. 2.5 years later, they're hanging and swanging. HI HATERS✌😝

This was exactly what I needed, I’ve been loc’d for only a week using two stead twist method. And a lot of this time I would be frustrated with how thin they are and wonder if the would thicken and loc, now I have hope ❤️

@@xosassy7100 I’m now 6 months Loc’d and they have definitely gotten wayyyy thicker and even in the middle of my head where it was the thinnest has filled out a little bit. I’m so happy and never knew my hair could do this! Loving this journey and can’t believe I’m half way to 1 year. 🥰

Ooh, wow! Her hair and locs are so pretty. I'm almost 5 months braid loc'd. My hair was damaged, thin in some areas do it falling out during the pandemic. It's gotten a lot fuller versus when I first started the locs. 🙏🏻

Her locs look beautiful. One's hair being able to loc has nothing to do with density and more so to do with texture. Some textures take more time than others. Density should be considered when deciding on the size, parting and number of locs but it won't stop someone's hair from locing. The misinformation has to stop lol.

@@dorcastweneboah8880 locs get thick because the shed hair that is the final stage of the hair growing journey, is no longer being combed out but instead gets trapped in the locs. If someone has low density which means they don't have a lot of strands on their head getting microlocs or small to medium locs can help with making their head look more full and brick layering the parts can help with that as well.

@@graced_by_ebeauty Thank you for the information. I have low density hair. I want closer to medium sized locs bc it makes my face look fuller and my hair look thicker. I have micro locs currently so I will be combining. No shade to my loctician. She is a pro at what she does, but she told me my hair could fall out if I choose to go thicker. That scares me. This video and your words have encouraged me to step out in faith. I’ve had micro locs for a year and I will be combining April 6. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks🤎

I am 4 months locked with fine hair. I would love to get a loc style but heard it could cause your locs to thin so I was wondering if I should wait until I was further along in my journey?? My questions is how often should you get your locs styled?? And how long should you keep style in??
