Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol. To make it easy: - I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto - My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty) - I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything). So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada. Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well. I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol. I don’t know, i tried 😄

I love that this video and all of Rosie’s other videos disprove one of the stupidest myths about Europe: small portion sizes. Look, they’re eat eating ginormous portion sizes, it’s normal in Europe.

I know you will soon become rich and successful and famous because gosh how not, but don’t ever loose this humble personality and this love for your roots! You are making art with these videos. Cant wait for more! (They don’t EVER get repetitive so if one day your are out of ideas, just make more of the same because it’s amazing)
(Not about your video, more about the ads) Is it legal to mislead the public saying bs that Nutella is healthy while it contains high artificial sugar and carbs and highly processed additives?
From what I understand, most Romans especially the upper classes had issues with lead poisoning, even using lead shaving as an artificial sweetener. Lead interferes with your ability to tase, the result is that they put strong flavors on literally everything. I keep that in mind when I redact period recipes. Also the palet was different - like all the weird jello salads in both the Victorian Era and the 50's, take your pick.
I love this video so much! It reminded greatly of my first ever holiday(Castel Volturno,Naples) in 2017. This video is exactly what I experienced there: warm & friendly people, amazing food & pastries, farmers market, beautiful beaches, aunties dropping by & having banters, going out & about after dinner showing off their latest purchase, tv in the kitchen, tasty seafoods etc etc. I’m forever grateful to my friend for showing me her Italy! What a fun video! I have to commend you on your bravery, garum is not for the faint of heart! I love Chinese oyster sauce, and I cook with it regularly, but garum makes me squeamish. The stuffed rabbit looked fantastic!!!
