Queued with Level 0 Hitch on the mill map. I ran over to his side start of the match and saw he left a gate open. Started talking in voice chat explaining to him he has to lock doors otherwise they escape. Told him he has 3 traps and to place them in front of the locks. Hitch followed me around and listened to my tips. One of his Traps caught a Connie and stopped her from getting out. Only one escape whole match and the rest were handled by Leatherface. Wholesome noob moment. If you see a noob in your lobby, try and guide them in comms. The game has a steep learning curve from first starting. The mechanics aren't clear to noobs until at least 10 matches. Not everyone hears comms but it's worthwhile to say something helpful or give some guidance if your team is doing bad or there's a noob.
Even a simple callout like, "three victims at generator" can save a game. So many times I've been watching battery on nancy's and there's something going on by the front garden exit for a couple minutes and nobody makes a callout for help. So one of the family leaves because they're getting smoked by an exit and nobody is helping them. It's ridiculous, how are you going to quit when you didn't even try to ask for help. It's not that you have a bad team, you're just not using comms. Nobody expects you to chat the whole time. But a good callout when you see a victim you can't handle can change the game from bad to good.
Regards to the rush meta, was playing as hitch on gas station, grandpa awake notification while im still in my opening animation. I run straight towards fusebox spawn point to see ana switching it on. Instantly 3 vics escape. I rage quit the only time. It almost ruined the game for me. If the victim are able to escape basement, grab fuse , open fusebox and do the puzzle before any family can get there, then the game is broke. Luckily it hasn't happened since
I have also encountered this once. Playing as Hitch as well. The Sissy player blamed me and Cook like if we were supposed to stop it?? By the time we got to the fusebox, one of the victims already turned it on and they all escaped.
I have encountered this 3 times in this game, and seen clips of 2 others. Anybody saying this game isn’t victim sided on average (the average being high level/experience this far into the game) is delusional.
Well then you need more players, as for now you'll get thrown into the jungle. But yeah that was another crappy move by Gun to remove the level display on each player
If victims don’t rush, they get rushed in the basement or the come topside to be met with locks and traps all over the place with mic’d up family heavily patrolling the inner area. Danny is how the victims are able to counter total lockdown by family.
I really want to see this game turn around. its such a good game. just needs some love. feels so good to grab some coffee and just chill playing this game. they might have to change people being able to pick sides
I probably play about 65% family in this game and a few things I dont get about alot of these victim players is... you have waited how long in a lobby to just rush and try and escape in the first 60 seconds of the game just to go wait in another lobby? And the other players who finally get a match and than just have 2 or 3 people running meta grapple builds to just bully and frusterate people who are actually playing the family. Ya the devs have ruined this game with some of the changes but all these toxic try hard victim only mains make it even worse.
The grapple system before nerf was the only thing saving Family mains getting absolutely trashed on. Now after the nerf it’s been a struggle to win games. Let’s not forget the nerf for cook, sissy, Johnny, and newly Nancy. May remind she was $10 and nowhere near broken as a the pay to win victim Danny. They nerf her poison claw, pins and needles, and wait a minute. All of those perks I use for either a blood harvesting, savergy, and endurance build. And to top it all off she is a lockdown character 😂…. A killer that isn’t ment for chasing. I swear the devs look at results from a computer instead of actually playing their game. They need to start looking at content creators vids to see the problem that people are bringing up. Don’t even get me started on the new map the game is easily victim sided and I don’t like it.
@@aofdeath00 it’s not a skill issue bro I’m literally been max lvl and play all the killers that have blood harvesting, endurance, and savagery. Hell I even know what killers are better on what maps. Skill issue is far beyond the problem of this game.
It wil fix itself when the family member is shown, however if we get one character every month that would be better pace. When the new family member.comes out it will be it's worse.
Nancy is still good. I don't know what people are talking about. I've only played family ever since the release, and I found all of the comments against family mains rather offensive. However, I've only recently realized how true they are. Basically, what I've realized is that the family community is mostly made of picky babies who are afraid of challenges and need to grow a pair.
Dude I literally play both but I played victim a lil more than the family but I recently been tryna main sissy dide the grapple meta shit isn't no joke bro you can't do nun it's too the point where people don't even leave they just grapple you the whole game camp gap and stab Granpa it's not fun whatsoever how do you expect people to enjoy the game where it's nothing you can do to even try to doing what your supposed to do victims can escape in 2 minutes cause they got perks that let them basically become invisible it's really dumb And oh god please don't let me forget get about empowered and choose fight it's the dumbest shit ever I try and try and try and try and try to have fun but i can't i have to force myself to even play the fucking game it's so frustrating they can just loop over And over with no problem I been rage quitting all day how can you not feel bad for the family member you literally can't do shit to help yourself
The grapple/empowered meta is the worst!!! It's the most annoying thing the devs have allowed and enabled in the game. It went from high risk/high reward to literally no risk with empowered/extra drip ect...Family other than Leatherface feels extremely bullied and weak in the face of it. The Rush meta has always been an issue and the devs have always been bad at adjusting for it. I think Rushing, hitting bone chimes, welling should cause more rapid bleedout for a certain amount of time, Running causing the heart rate of the character to increase and bleeding out quickly ect. There should be punishment for rushing. Stealth is worthless in a stealth based horror game?😂 It makes no sense. I think Proficiency is gonna get nerfed eventually, especially when perks like Fast Hands are on multiple characters now..Connie doesn't feel as unique because of it as well. Victims aren't Victims..They literally kick the shit out of family now. Worse than ever.😂
Other than victims being favoured one of the things that put me off this game for a while is I’ve had a leather face purposely steal my kill when I had the person I was chasing near death when they could just go for another victim at full health instead some family team mates are just absolutely stupid irritates me just remembering it
