Hello Good People! Welcome to my channel, showcasing the great American Bandstand in the 1960's!
I have always had a passion for music from the 60’s, the greatest music of all time!
I love watching clips from when this music was new such as on shows like Hullabaloo, Shindig, The Ed Sullivan Show etc... but I especially love seeing average kids dancing to this “new” music on American Bandstand.
My channel is dedicated to sharing clips from American Bandstand (and other shows) celebrating AB’s amazing dancers (check out ABDancers channel too!) and highlighting the fashion, fads, news, pop culture, and especially the MUSIC of the 1960’s!
Los años maravillosos de los años 69, 70, 80 90.y 2,000 yo lo goce mucho con Américan Bandstan ahí conocí A mi bella esposa Dora hasta la eternidad con ella. Te amo mucho amor de mi vida
A cousin of mine through my great great grandparents wrote this song in 1957 the same year I was born, i first heard this recording in late 1968 on a store music system, the person had it loud enough couples started dancing and a few kissing as they danced to this wonderful love song!!!!
I have a theory that when Clark was chatting with dancers, and you see it often and mentioned in roll calls is MAIL apparently the dancers helped him deal with the fan mail...in this episode its Cathy Simon tagged for mail duty?
Just a thought .... they are all well into their 70s (or 80s) now. I can just imagine the conversations - "Grandma.... Grandpa, what Did you think you were doing 😄
I was born in 1953, I loved the songs of the 1950's of which I listened to when I became older. The men looked wonderfully fantastic, the young ladies looked very beautiful . It's a shame that the songs, music changed so very much.
I love watching these old vidios i.I myself was a senior in 68 in.Minnesota. cold but still wore those short skirts sent home many times because of a dress code😮
This show happened in 1970 I was born 14 years later in 1984.... But my mom who was a 13-year-old freshman an throughout her high school years was bopping to this music and a big American Bandstand fan
I wonder who the Blondie with shoulder length hair dancing with the white blouse an the black mini skirt or skirt in front of Dicks microphone podium is... She was really dancing and moving her body.. Now to think of it... if she was 17 years of age back in 71 which is 53 years ago that girl is a great grandmother at 70.. can you imagine that.. and you almost have to wonder how many of those people are still alive.. An Dick Clark looks young for 41 years of age... Does anybody know who that pretty girl back then was..?
