I guess I don't understand why this is a question if you are committed Christians. In my faith, it's pretty well understood that waiting is what you are supposed to do. For SO many reasons. I, personally, don't think waiting is about guilt and shame, or fear of going to hell. It's about love. Love for yourself and for your future spouse and for the children that could potential come from your union. I also think the unbridled exercise of sexual expression in society leads to a more chaotic world. Sex isn't wrong or bad, but it should be handled with care. Waiting for marriage offers some safeguards-- some of which you mentioned in this video.

Many studies have shown women tend to value physical attractiveness in a partner more than men. In my experience, I've seen this disproportionate and even obsessive focus on looks in women and girls very regularly for as long as I can remember. Pretty much every time if not every single time I've seen a woman or girl make a drawing of a person it's some unusually attractive person, whether that unusually attractive person is a male or a female (it isn't just men's looks they are preoccupied with, but women's as well for some reason). I think part of the reason we don't talk about this in society is because it risks making women seem unsavory or more shallow than men and men more deep than women, and society goes to great lengths to ensure women feel superior to men in every regard and to downplay women's weaknesses or unsavory traits. It's so offensive how just merely acknowledging a trend like this gets you treated like a mysoginist and how we've created a culture in which it's totally normalized to dehumanize men just for acknowledging these things or for making certain observations about women like this. We treat women with kid gloves and treat women like these perfect, inherently flawless creatures all despite the fact that they are just as imperfect, or as these studies are showing, perhaps even more imperfect then men, at least in this regard of overfocusing on superficial and dehumanizing aspects of others like looks. Simply making an observation or talking about the findings on this particular issue or talking about areas in which women could improve will more often than not get a male lumped in with mysoginists and the worst members of society. Even writing this now I have an awareness and a worry that I will almost certainly be branded as a sexist/mysoginist just for creating this comment

2 years ago, i was diagnosed with Bipolar, ptsf (se*** abuse and physical abuse) etc..and chronic to severe anxiety.
