@@CaryHawkins love it when you discover a tangential feature in a tutorial and think "I can use this for so many other things!". I haven't used Illustrator for many years and am doing a lot of relearning. thanks for the video!
Great video BTW! I get a lot of requests for 3" of bleed all sides with 1" overlay. How would you go about adding the bleed also? Thanks man. This video was a lot of help.
@@andrejstefa i got it to work but it is so trash because i have a line in the middle and i try to draw a symmetrical face but once i try to draw the eyes it doesn’t draw it on the other side but directly next to it, adobe made a industry level software that doesn’t even have this simple feature
@@NoahStillAsleep I still don't know much about this software but you might fix the problem when you go into "Transform Effect" and check all boxes in lower left side, those aren't turned on by default
@@andrejstefa i tried everything i could find but it just doesn’t work, i started using illustrator about 3 weeks ago coming from photoshop this is the most unnecessarily complex software i have used and i really don’t know why
I could, but the long-term value is the method itself, and I wouldn't be able to support my channel if I just gave you a link that you clicked. RU-vid pays me for viewing time after all. I use this method to grab other resources I want to use to create artwork all the time, especially when I am recreating an existing brand's artwork and the resources available are limited. It's really not hard. Just give yourself some time to follow my steps, and hit pause if necessary. It's very simple, I promise.
I suppose I could have included one, but the issue is it would be converted to RGB then viewed on different screens with different settings, making the outcome slightly different for every individual who watches. Maybe a side-by-side would have been better. Good suggestion.
@@CaryHawkins itsokay man i thought you have posted it in different video. Actually i was searching on “how to print blue almost like yves klein blue” let me know haha
I'm not sure. I haven't had to match that specific blue before. I suggest getting some color swatches printed using the same substrate that your end product will use, and comparing them to your desired outcome.
