i love at the beginning Marston was thrown out of his house, yet still has a gall, to challange Quigley to a draw. Marston was a fool and people need to keep their Ego in check. regardless of how good anyone thinks they are, there is always someone better!
That thing looked so fake. This was a weak Outer Limits. Those guys couldn't run away from that slow moving thing? You can just smash that slow moving thing with something heavy or just hop away from it on one foot.
I wouldn't say elle was faking her egal talk, she sounded legit 2 me even though she did inadvertently break a law by claiming herself as an attorney when she wasn't one yet.
i love this scene. but, under what circumstances is it even physically possible, even with a hydraulic press? the first brick breaks first. the last brick can only break if the entire column of bricks is in motion, and comes to a stop at the bottom suddenly, and with great force - like on the order of 100 tons...200,000+ lbs of force.
Much of the outer limits isn't in the effects. It's in the well-written dialogue between the characters and the protagonist. The story they tell and the way they communicate. People communicated differently back then. A cynical person might say . The ability to communicate at all is a LostArt. There's plenty of interesting dialogue in each episode.
