Why do we only get an acknowledgement that things didn't work properly after the faults have been corrected? Infuriating. I have been complaining for years that Apple software has been falling behind its hardware potential. iPads need a mobile phone built in. We need a built in mobile phone for two stage identity verification, to remove the security risk of sharing networks and to carry less weight, especially when flying. When will Apple give us a 16:9 format to match more closely 16:9 movies and give us a larger full screen. My eyes are getting older. Especially the mini iPad needs an iPhone Application built in. A very portable larger screen device, again it should be 16:9 format. The increase in image viewed is often 30% larger on 16:9 format. An iPad is not an enlarged iPhone, it is a keyboard free, mouse free, touchpad free, touch screen device. People coming from old Microsoft Windows desKtop computers just don't get it.
Why is there no power button? I find this odd. I begin my day with everything fully charged. For some reason the case keeps charging the already fully charged phone. A few hours later and the case is spent? I own one and leave it in the junk drawer. I went with mophie. If the phone is sitting dormant for a while everything will still remain fully charged.

I got quite a few keys dead in bottom key rows above the spacebar for a 2019 16-inch macbook pro.... The "n", "m", ",. ".". and "/" keys., shift seems to work though.

Encrypting local backups is hardly ever necessary (unless you're really paranoid). One major reason is, if my main NAS goes poof, I want to swap in my backup system ASAP, so I cannot have some encrypted, or proprietary format (looking at you, Borg, Restic and Synology Hyperbackup) that I first need to restore to be usable. For off-site backups (both to systems I control and cloud storage), on-the-fly encryption (rclone to the rescue) is key though.

Ok, it basically then, it comes down to this. Don't encrypt non sensitive things, but do back them up. Encrypt sensitive things, and do encrypt the backups of the sensitive things. Make sure the keys for those backups are kept secure and backed up with someone or some place you trust. I think its that simple and intuitive. Cloud shmoud!!
Face iD is advanced like hell they moved on from fingerprint sensors thats why me using one just makes me feel like im using old technology so yeah Face iD is king
