16:00i mean, There was the Dr sub zero podcast with ryan and john d (which i think there was an episode with mike ross, or at least he was there when they were recording and filming it) before cross counter the way people remember it. From what i remember, there was an earlier show with ryan and john also after the podcast, on the crosscounter channel/banner.

you would be cancelled for this discussion ( back in 2020 ) .. but it is true, people want to police everything we do and say and theres only one valid correct way of thinking or else. this is why I've distanced myself from this type of crowd and only interact with those who aren't like this, also stopped attending tournaments
I think a lot of people don't want to watch longer matches if it's not their guy - people have weird parasocial relationships now. It just becomes a boring numbers game: "My man Player X has won FIVE evos, he's the greatest!" How he wins, doesn't even matter to them.
Anyone else getting annoyed AF with all these newcomers (relatively speaking) being called the GOAT? How can you even say Mena or Punk or one of the Birds is one of the goats when I haven't seen a single one of them beat Infiltration in years? In a FT10 I do not think anyone can take Infiltration after he completes the download on their play.
Fatal blow and rage art / rage are lazy and flat mechanics. I love tekken but man… what capcom did with the meter. Yea its also a comeback mechanic , but its so mich more diverse. Its a literal skill to manage meter on street fighter and pick the right spots to use it. It even interacts with the burnout mechanic, cause if you’re burnout and you do not even have invincible lv1 , you are fked. Capcom really thought about a comeback mechanic that is not ONLY that. I wish tekken would rework rage completely and make it a resource that can be managed and used.

Come on Chris you have options you can od reversal after the boom or practice perfect Perry against booms. If guile is close and he does sobat kick you can punish it as well
