Another great interview, well done!! One thing I especially like about your content is how you get into the specifics of their psychology with respect to how they approach the game. I’d like to know more about how these top players are able to make such big come-backs from losing positions into winning positions when playing sets. I’d also be interested in the topic of ‘flow’ state and how these top players get into that flow state and strategies they use to maintain that state while they play in tournaments etc.

Honestly these interviews really helped me understand how to up my game. Street fighter 6 was the first fighting game I took seriously and started competing. Hearing pros talk about their experience just makes me want to strive more in the competitive scene in my local area. Keep up the interviews Chris! You’re doing alot for the FGC and its new members

sometimes i wonder what would happen if serious scientists would make research involving highest level fg players, imagine u have very detailed data about this whole decision making process when they they have all last 2-3 years matches on big tournaments analysed, with top 30-40 players and everything is categorised calculated, and like they have all this information put through the scientific methods , of strategies and stuff i would thrilled to read a report because i feel like the way fg players think can show a lot of things about human mind-processes in general but very good podcast! it was very cool to hear from player how all this stuff works, thats really cool that top-player community are all like some kind of family
Somewhere, Instinct beat logic, but logic can not beat Instinct , maybe because logic is about something you plan, to plan follow a specific order, to plan make predictable, But instinct is the kryptonite of logic ,it is something you can not describe. This is the secret power of humans.
Now that I've played ed. They should make neutral drive rush work just like they do his flicker buttons, basically extending the hurtbox forward infront of the character as soon as it starts. Only potential problem I could see with that is there would be some Nasty trade drive rush clashes in favor of the aggressor if you get clipped trying to snipe DR. Unless they make it counter hit as well. But I think that is fair for the chance to be able to check DR on reaction. Other possible solutions Extra recovery on whiffed DR normals/throws
Angry bird needs the arcade tech we would do the motion and hit the panel to bait people into thinking we are going to super it's 90s tech and very effective side by side
Another one! This show's fire bro, keep 'em coming. 🔥 In regard to the X (Twitter) topic, it's a double edged sword. My philosophy is that there's always a flipside to the coin, sometimes there's even more than 2 sides to a situation. I make music, as well as post some of my SF gameplay and there's always some hater that shouldn't have a voice that wants to talk smack. I guarantee they'd never do that in real life. 😂 Last hater comment on one of my SF vids was "Are you faking your master rank, this looks like a platinum match." I just laughed. I play random. I'm probably 90/10 random to logic. It's like when Justin Wong said to Punk recently that his theory on Punk's losing on the big stage is that he lacks the "random factor" that you guys are saying Mena and AB have, which they do. I feel like that's why some of my matches look hectic but then again, I don't play it as a main hustle. It's just an hour of fun every fortnight for me. I get my 1992 nostalgia fix and I'm good. I said all that to say, I totally get ignoring the haters on social. Entertaining them is a trap. I'm probably more like you, Chris, where I get heated and wanna shut the hater down and make them look like the fool that they are but Big Bird is probably an exception and is the best person to fire back. He has the right personality and demeanour for it. Seeing Big Bird's tweets at the smack-talkers is refreshing. For example, a few FGC cats were speaking on a topic recently (can't remember what it was on exactly) but Big Bird's presence and wise wording not only calmed the situation but represented for people like us (the ones who miss how the FGC used to be)... All I remember was his last tweet being "You people, honestly" or something along those lines. I'm paraphrasing. He's a voice of reason though, I always like seeing what he says back to the deadheads. I stay out of it, I don't have the patience for the zombies. 🧟♂️😂 I'll check out that stick you're promoting too bro, this Obsidian 2 is wack af HAHA. I don't know how XiaoHai does it. I saw him dropping in SFL and was like CHANGE THAT STICK BRO LOL. Maybe his gold one is better than my piece of sh*t.
