Welcome to my RU-vid channel, here I post videos about HVAC service calls I perform. Some calls are good and some not so good. Either way I try and post new videos as often as I can. Thanks for stopping by. Please Subscribe
I need my 90 degree to immediately turn at a 45 degree angle… is there a way to do that? I’m guessing they used the accordion vent hose and pulled it down under the house so they were able to make that turn but it’s since been pulled out. The hole cut through the floor is right by the wall where the exhaust duct is but that duct I coming through the wall at a 45 degree angle from the hole in the floor… I’m guessing when they cut the hole in the floor they didn’t know there was a vent vent for the foundation and copper pipes coming out right beneath it.
You Know Why ??? I Did Use Degreaser And Pressure Washer To My Coil And After 2 Years It Is Happening The Same As Your Video. Goodman Is My Brand. Amén.
Great video ! I easily did just what the tech showed to by-pass the defrost board and send power to the fan motor. The fan has been working fine for several days now together with the compressor, and my house has been cool according to the thermostat setting. My only question now is whether or not I really need to replace the defrost board, since I live in a southeastern state where the winter temps are not really cold.
Lesson learned was out on a Maintance in April on a 4 year old carrier infinity found it low on gas and found out we had added 2 pounds the year before me having a slammed day recommended leak stop with dye to make finding leak easier keep in mind i haven't ran into issues with it I've had good success until now, fast forward to last week and back out for a compressor/inverter fault after 2 hours determined compressor was bad, replaced today and held pressure and pulled down to 500 microns but in the back of my head I'm saying it had to be the stop leak
I too will never pay for a patch. The cert itself is pointless to me, but the structured training is what holds the value. A green tech doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. Having a little exposure to things he hasn’t come across in the field yet, should help him catch on quicker. The pressure to maintain the cert by taking continuous training is always good too. I prefer RU-vid university.
You make this look easy :) I have a 1964 CC Coke Machine & have already received a new compressor/evaporator coil but I cannot locate anyone near me to install. Do you know anyone or can you install one in Jacksonville, FL?
This is super helpful thanks. I broke the CN3 (RT64 thermistor) wire on the power board with the capacitors on it. What's the best way to change that board out? Do I have to remove this front board first? Thank you.
My question is with the lines all jacked up and piece together like that and with the new unit and a new coil why didn’t you run new copper? I know it’s a lot more work but a new line set with a fresh unit to me would be a lot better than using an old copper and especially if you have R22 12:14 oil in that line set. I didn’t hear you say anything about flushing the copper lines either..
Where did you get the "Chrome' Radiator pipes and the did the Fittings come with them????????? that is SLEEK!!!! Hopefully you see this buy July Im putting in a Transmisson and doing new Radiator, Lines Etc
Take a video of how you connected it to main box , lots of videos on RU-vid how to install this type of units but not much on how to connect it to main box , add breakrs and all this electrical stuff

Is there a Need for the Flares at the outdoor Unit Can these ever be Brazed... Clearly you would need a Different Fitting at the Unit Which in turn answers the question ! Thanks for posting
