I just found your channel today and watched a few of your videos. You have put out some great content. I see you've been gone awhile. Hope you come back to RU-vid to do more videos!! Are you still liking your Cornerstone?
Stayed here for a week on our recent trip to Florida. We travel from Pennsylvania. It's as good as you said it is. The staff is very nice and helpful. The sites are well maintained. They have a couple laundry rooms placed around the grounds. The one we used was very clean, but only took quarters. There were a lot of snow birds who stay there for months. Lot of activities, mostly geared to them. I was surprised that there didn't have a store. They only sold ice and propane by the gallon. I got propane. It was very convenient, drop off the empty and they'll fill it before the end of the day. Our site was near the fishing dock. You should have gone fishing, I caught two and saw a school of rays swim by. Yes, it's a little noisy from the traffic, but it wasn't that bad. Remember it's in a highly populated area. It was less noisy than the campground across the water, where we stayed also. Thanks for your review, it helped in making my decision to stay there. I would definitely stay there again.
Very nice campground. Stayed here for a week, part of our winter stay in Florida. Had everything we needed. Staff is friendly and helpful. The fishing at the fishing dock was good. Caught a couple and saw some rays swim by. Definitely would stay here again.
Curt makes a really nice kit that achieves the exact thing that the Mopar does for $75. You also don’t have to disassemble half the jeep to install it. I’m curious why you use this one instead of this kit.
@BigRoadAdventure I too am installing this but want to use a standard 6 pin connector rather than the included Mopar connector cable to the RV. Did you make a video of wiring that up? I don’t see a diagram showing what each of the wires in the Mopar harness does, where did you happen to find that?
Thank you so much for sharing...my husband and I have been wanting to go visit Caladesi Island for a while now, we live in Leesburg Florida about 2 and a half hours from there.... Thank you again 🤗
Good review, Thanks. We have reservations for this winter for a week at Bay Bayou. Across the Bayou is Keylime Bay RV resort. It's a newer smaller resort. It wasn't open when you made this video. We stayed there in 2022. This year we doing Keylime for two weeks then moving to Bay Bayou for another week. Looking forward to Bay Bayou after watching your video.
Thank you for sharing, I did go ahead and purchase this harness, though it will be ok to stay Mopar for this electric install, I am going to have the dealership install, but I am having the invisible braking system by an RV dedicated shop, since they are doing the Maximum 3 recovery loops and tow bar, I am assuming this is a good decision, but one question is, the RV shop told me I will need a power line from the RV to trickle charge the Jeep, doesn’t the road master invisible brake set up for this already? And also I saw a 7 point connector in the package, is that for connecting the RV to the Jeep wrangler JL, IS THERE ANYTHING I should know to tell the RV shop or the dealer installers? Just trying to avoid confusion, which is probably going to come up, or not! Your answer is appreciated. Thank you!
I know this area well. It isn’t a beginner friendly area. The current can be a workout even for the those who are physically fit. We have beautiful springs just north of there. Come and see our beautiful Weeki Wachee Springs. Always a beautiful 72* waters. 💕 Be safe and enjoy!
Hello. Nice video It help a lot. My question is about the added light on the bumper. It is easy to add after I install the bumper or much better if I add it before I install the bumper?
Nice informative video! So, without the winch, a lot of the front end is exposed. If I don't install a winch on this bumper, do you know what kind of filler plate I need to get?
We just got back from there this weekend...also BRING A PROPANE GRILL you can grill on the beach ONLY PROPANE no charcoal but makes the day so much more fun!
We are in our 60's and wouldn't be without oure lectric bikes. Love them you can peddle when you want and don't if you don't want to. We paid for ours :)
Used to be a nice quiet island. Not anymore! Too many tourists and people. Traffic is now brutal just driving out to the island. Expect to wait 45 minutes in your car going nowhere and wasting gas.
I love Honeymoon! If you are staying anytime in Florida, get a state park pass! Well worth the money. Also, watch out for rattlesnakes on the island. I've seen them there multiple times!
Thanks for sharing. I just came to Bay Bayou, and you are right... a charming place. Enjoying my stay so far. Will be here just over a month. Great location to other amenities and the beaches.
