I’ve ordered from balsa USA and national balsa and have been pleased, balsa depot has good prices but I’m not sure of the quality I might make my next order from them
Awesome, Thanks for your video. I am starting my first build of a balsa model (Phoenix Corsair 0.52). Which video would be the best to learn building (installing the servos, pushrods, mounting the engine, fitting fuel tank and tubes linkage to the glow engine, and gluing the hinges, gear , etc.) and how to measure the CG (should I fill the fuel tank first!). Thanks
The closest video I have on some of that would be the extreme flight 60” edge videos, when checking cg you want tanks empty. I will have some videos covering more of the nitro stuff soon. I will say read the manual start to finish before starting
Fantastic, that is exactly where i am with my first rc build. I am only considering a top hinge to reduce yawing out while banking. (Straight wing, no dihedral) Nevertheless, watching your work helps me in choosing the components and mechanics. Thank you!
Is this the correct Spectrum Part Number for the Antenna I need to order: SPM6831? It says it fits a DX7, so I would think so, but I thought I would ask you what you ordered. Thank you
Watching all the videos I find on this Commander thanks for sharing. The aircraft is nice, that in parallel with that stunning flying location makes for an absolutely great day of flying. It a 1 in a million guess, but I’m thinking somewhere around the Carson Valley, Reno, Minden Nevada area?
rule no 1 leave wing flat on bench when glueing fixed to bench or you will get a twist in wing after you can put on top at you have done the wing is not rigid until le is on
You’re right, I should’ve mentioned that in video. The wing the “D” section of this wing is so small it still allows a lot of twist until it’s covered, so I wasn’t worried about it.
