If the DP Out port on your PC supports MST, in the meantime, your 3 monitors support DP MST as well, you can connect your PC to one of the DP INs on D23 using one cable, and extend to 3 daisy-chained displays via a DP OUT.

I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse paired to a Logitech dongle. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless. The dongle is USB. Will this setup allow me to share the keyboard and mouse? Also, i have a USB-C webcam. Will i be able to share that?
Sadly it’s to complicated to explain this in a single comment. But it’s possible. Super computers du the same thing and the US once used 200 PS3 when they where new on the market to build a new super computer
I have a MacBook Pro m2 and 3080 PC setup with three monitors. Can I use this kvm for my purposes? How can I connect my MacBook Pro to this kvm since MacBook only has usbc ports. Do I need 3 usbc to dp cable for MacBook?
Macbook doesn't support MST to extend more than 1 screen and I think only M3 can do this (we have discuss this if you're interested, www.avaccess.com/blogs/guides/macbook-m3-connect-multiple-monitors/). So the best option may be iDock C10 (with USB-C port), with which you can connect MacBook and PC to 2 monitors. For the third one you can just connect to the desktop PC separately.
Can this support two ultrawide 49" monitors? I know I'll have some issues setting up my work computer because of security protocols, but I know that's on me to figure out.
More realistically, if you only have one Windows 10 or newer desktop (or laptop) you can enable virtual desktops in windows settings and use crtl+win+(arrow key left or right). Separates all your apps so you can have different "workspaces".
Be careful, marketing is misleading, but even the KVM specs do not clarify this. You cannot use both monitors as separate displays, which makes this switch useless in my opinion.
Hi, understand your concerns. The KVM switch itself supports 2 extended screens. Most laptops will be OK, but Mac users do need to take this into consideration (most Macbooks do not support MST).
I bought this and just set it up an hour ago. It was fairly easy to set up. I have a MacBook Pro 2019 and a Lenovo Thinkpad sharing 1 monitor. First off, I actually like this! It makes work and my personal projects so much easier to toggle back and forth whenever I need! My issue now is that I wanted to connect my Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse so I wouldn’t have to use two kinds. I was able to connect my these to my Thinkpad, however, when I switched back to the MacBook, it disconnected the mouse and keyboard. When I switched it back to the Thinkpad, it disconnected there as well. Is this just a glitch or did I do something wrong?
@@avaccess Actually, I connected them via bluetooth, as they do not have the usb to plug into the dock. I did find a solution though: I used a PC keyboard and mouse with the usb to plug into the mouse port on the dock. It still works on my Macbook. So I'm fine with that.

My workstation is set up with a desktop PC, three monitors, and a dedicated keyboard and mouse. I'm interested in using a KVM switch to add my laptop to the mix. This would allow me to seamlessly switch between both computers with a single button press for keyboard, mouse, and monitor control. Yes, this KVM switch is designed for this purpose. D23 is a all DisplayPort KVM for a triple-monitor setup. As long as your PC and laptop can connect to the KVM, it will be a perfect fit for your situation.

There are 2 suggestion: 1. iDock C20, get a USB-C to HDMI+USB adapter. Cuz there's only one HDMI port on your Dell laptop. Your Dell laptop only supports extend to one monitor. Then two monitors will be mirrored. 2. iDock C10. This is for a laptop (one usb-port) and a desktop (HDMI+DP+USB-A port). Using this model, one HDMI and USB connect to laptop and product. In this way, you could only get one monitor. No need to buy a adapter. (These two ways could not support power and wired network for your Dell laptop, your Thinkpad one can.)
Hi. Be careful about adapter's direction. You can use a HDMI to USB-C but will only have one screen for your laptop; you can use Mini DisplayPort to USB-C, if your laptop's Mini DisplayPort support MST feature, it will work. : )
Does this provide power delivery? If it does how many watts? If two machines are plugged are both charged or only the current active machine set by the KVM? Is this powered by its own adapter? Is the adapter autovolt (supports both 110v and 220v)?
This is a cool product but... please support displaylink to have more than one screen for the Mac. mirroring on two screens in front of my eyes is useless..

Hi. You might need to used adpater to connect your Macbook via DisplayPort then. 2 DP INs match 2 DP Out (to 2 screens). The product support 1080p@240hz and 2K@165hz.
The webpage for this product indicates that DisplayPort 1.4a (USB-C) is available. Does this mean that I can output to a DisplayPort monitor using a USBC-C to DisplayPort adapter? If yes, which port would I just to output to a DisplayPort monitor? Thanks in advance.
Hello, here is for the connection of iDock C20. 2 USB-C to USB-C connect 2 laptops and iDock C20. 2 HDMI ports connect 2 monitors and iDock C20. If your monitors does't have HDMI port, then you need a DP to HDMI cable.
No, I mean can we project (display the laptop screen and keeping laptop screen of, like we do with CPU desptop) screen to Monitor(instead of mirroring to monitor)
Is the iDock C20 compatible with the Lenovo thinkpads T14s Gen 1 & 2? These laptops usually require a docking station and I was wondering if I could bypass the docking station with the IDock c20?
MacOS does not support MST so you can only connect 1 monitor to the switch if two are connected one will extend and one will duplicate one screen. What if the laptop is closed will it extend the content on each screen or will it duplicate screen 1 and screen 2?
It depends on the model. For the MacBook Air M3 chip, it could extend to 2 monitors with the lid closed. (You could check this on Apple official website)
I've been using this for a couple of days now. My work laptop works smoothly with it, but my personal laptop won't wake my monitors once the laptop has gone to sleep. Even if I open the laptop screen again, it will not connect to the monitors. I have to unplug and replug in the USB C connector. Is there a solution for this? It's frustrating and almost defeats the purpose of having a kvm switch. I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that my work laptop is powered by USB-C so I am able to connect it directly to the KVM switch so that the switch is also charging it. My personal laptop is a gaming one and is powered by this massive plug thing. I connect my USB-C port from it to the back of the KVM. Does anyone have any solutions? I've tried so many things to no avail.
Have you tried setting your computers to not sleep? That may not be the solution you’re looking for but may overcome the KVM’s quirks. I don’t own one of these so I can’t say it is a solution
Try change the settings: 1. « Hardware and Sound › Power Options › System Settings When I close the lid: do nothing 2. Go into the BIOS and found an option to "Resume by USB device" and enable Check the power of your gaming laptop, if it is over 100W, it might can't be charged by the iDock C20.
I’ve been using this for several weeks now and i have experienced disconnecting issues for several seconds many times on desktop machine. It reconnects after several seconds so it’s not much a problem when you work, but it’s a big issue if you are playing games.

You mean Macbook? It offers DisplayPort n USB connection. It's not a good option for MacBook. You can check out C10 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UAmoYKL_4I4.html). But remember Mac does not support MST so you will only get 1 extended screen instead of 2.
@@avaccess so will i be able to use 2 monitors when im on my windows pc and only 1 of my monitors if im switchin to my macbook pro or do you mean i can use both monitors with mac, if my mac is closed?
note: is there an option to get a switch, that lets me use my windows pc/macbook pro with 2 monitors and still has a refresh rate of 240hz at 2.560 x 1.440?
@@clemensstein1275 iDock C10 supports this setup but the resolutions will be 2560x1440@144hz at max. You might need to look for some thunderbolt docks.
