Are you using a 3-computer setup? How is that?

I am thinking of buying the iDock D23. I use a gaming pc at home and need to connect a work laptop sometimes. I use 2x 165hz 1440p screens (using DP cables). The iDock D23 doesn't support laptops it seems. Will i still be able to use my laptop if i connect a HDMI to DP cable & a USB-C to DP cable and still be able to switch between the desktop and laptop? The other KVM switch docks you have doesn't look like they support gaming at 1440p at 165hz only 144hz? Are you planning on making a KVM switch that supports what i asked to begin with or do i need to look elsewhere? (the iDock D23 seems perfect if only it had a dedicated laptop usb-c port)

@@Leo1991 1. Yes, you can use HDMI to DP cable & a USB-C to DP cable to connect D23. 2. Right, our USB-C KVM switches now support up to 1440P@144hz. We may do this kind of models in the future while don't have solid plan yet.

I already have a docking station a different brand do you have a product like a sharing switch that can allow my docking station to be used by two different laptops thanks

There might not be any specific switch for this use. If you wanna share between laptops, try a KVM switch and plug it in it (might be compatibility issues). That's why we do KVM switch docking station.

Does it work well with macbooks and macs?
@avaccess

It will extend two duplicate screens cause Mac does not support MST. Yes, it works well with Mac system.

@@avaccess Thanks for the reply :) One more question: is there any known problems with ultrawide displays? I have a 3440x1440 ultrawide. Also what refresh rates I could expect with that resolution?
@avaccess
@avaccess 8 месяцев назад
@@vytautas731 Yes, you can use ultrawide screen. For 3440x1440, you will get 60hz.

@@avaccess Ah, 60Hz is not too great :/ So to clarify, I have a setup with 3 computers: a gaming PC, a work macbook and a mac mini for home/lab coding, etc. This product is the closest solution I could find to be able to switch between my computers, but well... It's not perfect cause of 60Hz for my gaming PC :) I was looking into 8KSW21-KVM but it does not have USB Type-C for my macbook and only supports 2 PCs :/ A perfect dock/KVM for me would be one with a single monitor output (for my ultrawide), 2 HDMI inputs with high refresh rate support and a USB-C input with charging capability. Is there any plans to release a product like this? Maybe there's something I'm missing that you could recommend? Thanks for your reply! :)

@@vytautas731 May I know what refresh rate is your bottom line, and what is the perfect spec for gaming? Would love to know your thoughts. Currently, our USB-C KVMs (bit.ly/490JPK3) support up to 4K@60hz and we will be planning to do sth new.

I’ve just got a 4K top end monitor and 4090 GPU. I want to perform at the highest refresh rates possible. What KVM switch will allow me to do this. Will this cap out at 60Hz?
@avaccess
@avaccess 5 месяцев назад
This model supports 4K@60Hz, 1080P@240Hz/165Hz/144Hz/120Hz, and 2560×1440@144Hz/120Hz. What resolution n refresh you are expecting for?
@alexmartyniuk1863
@alexmartyniuk1863 5 месяцев назад
@@avaccess so I have a 4K display that goes up to above 4k@200Hz. I suspect that this KVM switch will not allow me to get the most out of my monitors performance above 4k@60Hz
@avaccess
@avaccess 5 месяцев назад
@@alexmartyniuk1863 You're right. I suppose you need a KVM switch that supports 8K or 10K.
@avaccess
@avaccess 5 месяцев назад
@@alexmartyniuk1863 Currently we only have these models supporting 8K (bit.ly/3wGoSWQ). New models may come up late 2024.

What if i have 2 laptops and one desktop?
@avaccess
@avaccess 9 месяцев назад
Depends on what ports your machines have. B30 has two dual HDMIs, and one USB-C to connect 3 systems.
@AvenuNM
@AvenuNM 9 месяцев назад
@avaccess the laptops both have hdmi and usb-c and my desktop has hdmi, I'm going to use my Samsung ark gen 2 with multi view so I purely need the solution to provide me the ability to use one set of keyboard n mouse for all 3 systems
@avaccess
@avaccess 9 месяцев назад
@@AvenuNM B30 is for dual monitor. You can go for a simple 3-port USB switch or a KVM switch like this (bit.ly/3SttLut).

@avaccess I got one and got it to work with 1 desktop and 2 laptops, just needed to purchase a USB C to USB B adapter
