Hi, I’m Jasmine. I’m a pharmacist sharing my journey while I tackle life as an early career professional. Subscribe to see my journey with Lifestyle and Pharmacy!
Today was actually yesterday. I thought that it was something up under my nail, you know and I have seen it on other peoples RU-vid channel about green nail and today the next following day I decided to just take it off and you know change it out since it was, you know my nail underneath is growing out or so, so I was planning on doing that that’s when I seen that and I wasn’t freaked out about it because even though this was my first time happening, I wasn’t freaking out about it
I’m confused bc my nails were glued on with brush on glue for only four days and three of my nails are now bright green 😢 hopefully the bleach helps. I work with food so I’m assuming all the hand washing is what caused it. It may be time for me to focus on natural nail health and wait for a special occasion to use false nails and then soak them off immediately after
hello!! i’m a sophomore in high school so i’m not really sure how it works, but if get my PharmD would that transfer to Hospital and Retail pharmacy? or is it different certifications?
Dude same thing happened to me! I put on press on nails and they were coming off today and saw green under them! I was like wtf!? So glad I found her vid!
My nail on the left (nail fold), has been sore for 6 days. This morning I woke up and it is a little green and still a little sorr and swollen on the same side. What should I do?
I graduated from one of the most recognized local university in my country. I graduated in 2015. My CGPA is very low 2.41. After completing my training as provisionally registered pharmacist, I served my compulsory service for two years. Then, I am out of job. I don't really like the idea of working in community setting. I would like to work again in hospital setting. It's been 5 years I am without a job (real job). In the meantime I studied programming. But I don't know.
Congrats to you both! I have heard about this. It seems that most schools will now be focused on more of the holistic application rather than simply looking at test scores!
It’s impossible to be a 4.0 student at my pharmacy school. It’s disgusting how much information and 7 classes each semester on top of the mandatory meetings and volunteer hours
Hey! Love your vids! Just wanted to ask as an incoming PharmD student- is it difficult to schedule time to study while also working the part time job? If not, what does your schedule look like with work / school balance? Do you just work weekends? Thanks so much!!!
Welcome to the Pharmily! I worked at minimum one weekend a month and worked a lot more during holiday breaks (Spring break, winter break, etc.) I sometimes picked up afternoon shifts if I didn't have an exam that week. At the start of the semester, try to map out your exams and study time needed and schedule work around that. Hope this helps :)
Congratulations 🎉. Your videos have made very helpful for me in getting my high schooler getting all her pre req classes done and getting into pharmacy school this August. She is 18 and in a new state pursuing pharmD and out of her league. I sometimes come her to watch your videos to encourage her. Welcome to my state!
Hey there Jasmine, thank u SO so much for this video.I finished my second year of pharmacy three months ago and I was struggling really really hard, working at the same time, going to classes, studying everyday and you're right!! The first important thing is to take care of yourself which I hadn't (3-4 hours sleep in a day. during exam times I even had a record I didn't sleep for 40 hours straight) and how much I studied and made algorithms it just didn't get into my head 😂 Thanks for helping us and I'm gonna be using that channel u mentioned and of course "Osmosis".Good luck with ur studies ✨
Thank you for watching. The amount of time I studied changed based on my exam schedule. I studied more hours closer to exams. Good luck on your pharmacy journey!! :)
Starting pharmacy school in less than a month. Thank you for this video. It is motivating & I’m looking forward to the flexibility pharmacists have in the field. Glad I found your channel! I hope you’re enjoying the pharmD life!!!
Can you please make a video on different careers after M.Pharm, and is it fine if I do biochemistry course as my undergraduate and then b pharm after that m pharm
miss perry i have questions about my gpa I have a 3.4 GPA and i was wondering if i can still become a pharmacist with that as a junior and I am afraid I might not make it can you help me get my dream job i don't know how to become one :(
Thank you for watching! I would recommend researching schools you are interested in and looking at the average GPA for admitted students. It's important to remember that pharmacy schools look at a lot of different factors when making decisions (grades, extracurricular activities, work experience, etc.), so try to be a well rounded applicant :). Hope this helps!
Passing the MPJE exam is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don't have time for your studies l'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr James
Thank you for this info 🙏🏽 I just took my "11day old" acrylic nails off and my thumb nail is green. I was freaking out! 😅 I used peroxide to soak it but now I will do the diluted bleach instead.
I'm curious about the path from undergrad to graduate to residency (if needed) I'm starting school this summer to become a pharmacy technician, I plan to do that for a few years then go to college to become a pharmacist. I guess if I could suggest anything it would be if you could make a video with advice about what to study to follow any of these pharmacist career paths?
Thanks for watching! I'm excited about your pharmacy journey. Please check out this video where I details how to become a pharmacist and how to stand out as an applicant ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fcB1nM9ck5A.html
I have a question I was wondering can you get your certification as a phymacy technician and then go back to school for a associates in phymacy technician?
Thanks for watching! If you get a job as a pharmacy tech at some pharmacies, they will provide Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) training. See an example here: jobs.walgreens.com/en/pharmtechlicense. Hope this helps
What was the routine that you did to get rid of the greenies bc I really miss wearing my press ons. And how diluted the bleach has to be? Like how much bleach & how much water bc I really wanna get rid of the green😂
I feel your pain! I love my press-ons. I used 1 drop of bleach mixed with 4 drops of water on my nail twice daily for about 2 weeks. I applied with a QTip. Hope this helps.
