How to Become a Pharmacist in the United States | Tips & Tricks I Wish I Had Known 

I’m 11, and I’m looking to become a pharmacist. I know it might take a while but I want to be prepared and know what I get to do, how to do it, and how to be good at what I do. Also, I really like sticky notes! So I’m thinking if I make this my job, I’ll have an excuse to be buying sticky notes!! Pray for me lol. Just subscribed, I can tell I like you!! 😁

But an automobile accident put a stop to that. I lost my short term memory. Thanks again and you are an incredibly beautiful woman.

Hello, I live in the state of NV. I have already received my bachelor's but it is not in science or biology (psychology and businedd admin). My GPA is 3.3 (messed up my first sem, didn't take the classes over either) and it's been 2 years since I've graduated. I have some volunteer experience as well. What steps do you recommend I take next? Do you recommend pharm tech as a stepping stone or maybe something else instead?

I just started a pharmacy technician program and before I started I thought I would further pursue becoming a pharmacist. Since starting the program, it's been 3 weeks, there's so much to know and remember. My teacher was not exaggerating when she calls pharmacists walking encyclopedias. It intimidates me for this information to know and remember. Did you feel this way? If so, how did you cope or handle it? Did you second guess this career choice?

@Jasmine Perry Good Evening, not sure if you’ll see this. I’m a high school senior and for the past couple of years I’ve wanted to be a pharmacist. I truly want to be a pharmacist, but I’m not sure where to start. I’m stuck and not in the right place in life right now. So far the plan I’ve came up with was take perquisite classes at my local community college in Florida. Then I wanted to move to Arizona and officially start my 4-year college at ASU. Where I’d then began training/practicing for my degree. I’ve watched countless videos, but so far yours has been the most informative. I don’t know any family members in the medical field or any pharmacist who could potentially help me and provide information. Do you think that the plan I’ve came up with will be great or successful? If not, can you please provide with me with information regarding ways to truly start my career. Any tips or nuggets of wisdom provided are appreciated greatly. I'm 20 and trying to get into schooling. My step-dad recently died so my mom has had to step up to the plate in earning as is expensive ass California and wants me to go back to school full time. California is having a pharmacy desert. Please stay the journey. People do not understand how to evolve and apply science to the educational system. Did it work in China and Maury County? Why do I need a standardized test to profile me when I’m applying for and the entire education process and tuition is not like k-12. They where prejudice then and we still prayed for a voucher for the most talented. Moreover in the End Dubai is still having gold bars out of their candy machine and the most wealthy are there whom rarely come to States. We look fabulous while doing it. The school systems has so much money it’s unreal but they have limited food and low quality fund. Where is all that rainy day fund; especially when these buses are old as hell and some schools where never repaired since their great great grandfather whom was raping students as the principal.
