A friend of mine has two hammers and none of those have any zergs, we were looking everywhere. The manual says there are 3, a sticker on the outside of the hammer says it has 2. We looked inside and outside. No grease zergs, no drill holes, no threads. Does anyone know, if the bearings even still need to be greased regularly?
How delicate can you forge with this? I’ve only used a 50kg air hammer and it could whack and it could planish (with some practise) how is that for these?
For extra hitting force, REDUCE the size, of the hitting ' edge '. The smaller the hammer, the force is increased, by the size reduction, as a ratio of force/size of impact. Using a 2 inch square, hitting force is ALOT more force, with the same stroke of this hammer.
Well, a very interesting look at a power hammer I doubt I will ever afford, lol. On the other hand, who knows what tomorrow brings? Very impressive volume of work in a very short time, I hope to have sufficient to need one, would definitely like to try one out.
