Thanks for making this video, I would never have know how to strip my hammer and find the problem. I am going to talk to a local machine shop to see if it is feasible to weld the box housing. I will let you know how I make out. I am getting more interested to buy one of yours.
.I have a Chinese self container hamer dont know if it is anyang, brought it second hand. I have a problem with it; the ram does not retract as it used to. It does not go back up all the way. It stil functions but This is not right. Sometimes at start up the upper die hits the power die by Itself the first 5 orso hits. What could be the possible cause of This problem?
You couldn't make those assembly pins with a hex head instead of slotted? I saw you taking them out, once it clears the hole it looks like a pain in the ass... : )
