Hello I'm Brenden, this channel is a collection of my hobbies and enjoyments, with a little touch of how-to and informational videos. This will range from Cars, Weather, Photography, Astronomy, Gaming, Concerts, and whatever else I find interesting to post.
Disclaimer - I am not a professional. My how-to videos are solely my experience and me trying to walk someone else through doing the project. While I do have some backyard mechanical knowledge, I know I have a lot to learn.
Still have your ST? I bought my Kona Blue metal flack '16 ST new in Jan. '16. Ordered the ST 1, figured I didn't need the extra fancy stuff, after all they all have the same engine and trans. Will be doing rear brakes for the first time tomorrow. Got an upgrade with drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. Odd, my fronts are still good (for a little while.) usually they go first considering they do most of the work, but I'll be upgrading the fronts very soon. Car has only 53,800 miles now. I've been retired for awhile, so no daily driving to work and back racking up the miles.
I do not have it anymore, unfortunately. I do miss it. And yeah, the brakes seem to hold out quite a while on these. Of course, replacements never last as long.
Hi sir I’m from Australia I was wondering if you ever fixed the issue and figured out what went wrong? This the first video and online forum ish thing that is similar to what’s going wrong for me too, any tips?
Good day, I can say the first time I attempted this, the outside temperature and humidity was on poorer side for spraying paint. The product I used was also not the best, I did reattempt this on a warmer summer day with Spraymax 2k (368 0061) clear which is UV resistant. I also went through the proper sanding steps before spraying using the 3M kits. It came out way 100% better with no cracking or pealing. So my tips would be choose product wisely, properly sand, and use a grease and wax remover before painting. Make sure it's not an extremely humid day and last make sure the outside temperature is within the specs of the can you are using. Hope this helps. Cheers!
Wish I would've known that your camera can apparently see better than your eyes. Here in MN it was insane, but it was all white, like something in the cosmos exploded but forgot to add any color. Either way, I got to cross something off my actual bucket list.
The camera can definitely capture more of the light, but it also depends on the light pollution in the area, while it was more washed out in color, I was able to see reds and greens with my eyes where I was. It was my first time seeing them as well, and an amazing experience.
@Brendenowits made sure to longboard a few miles away from my town to get away from any light pollution, even with all of it being white, with hints of red or green, it was absolutely worth boarding miles in the middle of the night.
Wtf.... Why am i just seeing this 😂 We used to do this on the 00-04 ZX3's with the MTX75's wtf 🤦🤣 This is literally how you prevent "Money shifting" newer drivers mostly but also for the less experienced manual driver too.... I does clean up the slop and makes it feel more like how a cable shifter sould be 🤙
Agreed the rear end links are directly in front of the slider bolts. If I remember correctly I was able to get the caliper unbolted enough to move it slightly out of the way to get the sliders out. Engineers am I right lol
Um, heck yeah, this is good for a cellphone! Mine is useless at launches. Congratulations on your first Falcon Heavy night launch. Hopefully you were able to look away from your phone and experience it with your naked eye. They'll never make a camera that replaces viewing a night launch with the naked eye.
It was an amazing experience, I definitely watched it with my eyes. My phone was off to my peripheral, lol I stuck around for the 2nd launch as well, but it was moving away from us and didn't make that good of a video.
Haven't driven the car yet, but just sitting there it feels awesome! I was able to reach the clip and cable by only removing the engine cover, FYI to any other skinny Bois out there.
I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp I hate Pipp Thank you. Your settings finally worked and my moon wasn't breakdancing across my screen. You're awesome, and so freaking calm
Does anyone know why the clip helps. I’m trying to understand the theory as to why this makes the shifter feels gritty in throws. I have a Porsche 911 GT3 that’s having exactly the same issues but I can’t find any forum other than the ST forums as to what this is or why it happens. Or how to fix it on the Porsche end.
Not sure about your Porsche but my guess is the plastic clip on the focus is a wearable part, it's likely set at the factory and as the plastic ages is stretches, this procedure resets the plastic tension to the factory starting point thus extended the life of the plastic clip. With any rear engine or fwd car the shifter uses flexible bushings and clips to allow the in out movement of cables to translate into up down and left right movement of the transmission gears. You may have the same wearable plastic but on the end of a shifter cable, but likely you would be putting yours in neutral then pushing forward to 2nd or third depending on the gear layout. It's 4th for the focus because your adjusting the maximum play the clip and cables allow away from the trans.
I did use that tracker for a bit and did try to guide with it later. I ended up having a lot of issues down the line and traded in for a Skywatcher Staradventurer 2i. The Staradventurer is a much better mount in my opinion even though it doesn't have the goto functionality. Though they do make the Star Adventurer GTi now which does. I have just had so much better luck with Skywatcher.
@@Brendenowits I was impressed with what you were able to capture with your 3200. And your captures with the tracker were even better. I hope I can figure this thing out and get something good.
how do you get to the tabs holding the bumper cover to the car which is directly under the headlights??? In my opinion removing the headlights are the easiest way, and side note they are 2 screws, hardly worth your stupid ass comment.
So I can't remember for sure because this was so long ago lol but from the video I believe u just push out the outer side of the lens where the tab is, it should just pop out like in here
I know I’m a little late, but the alignment settings try to calculate any error in polar alignment/positioning and automatically adjust the telescope’s tracking to be more accurate.
ayy yay yay Brenden, thats a white christmas alright! Its 45 here in my area and everyone is dressed like theyre going to the north pole, while Im going sheepshead fishing lol Happy Holidays bro, (Dave in Florida)
Happy Holidays! My uncle is down in Clearwater complaining because he just left here to get away from the cold. I'm planning on heading down in the spring, hopefully!
Wanted something raspier until I heard this. Ordered a catless and currently have the mbrp 304. Damn dog, sounds amazing! Fuck a new exhaust! Wish we had 400hp in there with how good it sounds!
@Brendenowits good video. Thank you. In the beginning, when waiting for pipp to process, it's silence, and all you hear is you eating your hot dog, lol
