Leon wasn't to descriptive of what wire goes where for this swap so here at Whoosh Motorsports website where he ordered the taillights they break down what needs to be done to work on US cars.

Will these fit on a 2016? Online it said 2011-13 but I’ve seen them on years above that so I’m confused lol

Aye if you saw the ones on Amazon they will work you just gotta repin them just like the ones in the vid. The ones I bought said 11-13 but they are exactly the same I can try and find a link if you need

there are 2 types of spec d s one for facelift one for prefacelift

How did you get the pins out? I'm having trouble with that part

There is little locking tabs that keep them in place and there is tools meant for the job however I used a small pick to give them the slight squeeze and pushed them outward.

I found pushing down on the connector (lightly) to get under the tab then push up on the tab and pull the wire from behind at the same time. I think its very important that you use a flashlight

I bought my car with a smoked set of these already installed and i find them to be a bit dim, but i don't think the LEDs in these are easily replaceable

@@Movi23- i think imma just go to someone who does headlight and taillight modding and ask him to replace the LEDs for brighter ones
