Awesome video. I too am a beginner in this hobby. I have 6 hours invested in this nebula and have been fighting with post processing all week. I finally found and watched your video and the results were incredible. The high pass filter trick really helped out a lot! I was surprised on how much detail came out considering that I didn't use any filters. Can't thank you enough!!!!!

I am very sad ...I dont have clear skies where I live and for some days I went to a national park in the US.. I got my first chance to do some real astrophotography but didn't have a star tracker ..so I manually tracked this nebula... turns out I didn't get the nebula ... I captured data of the part of the sky just underneath it ...didnt catch the nebula..all my capturing went to waste.. but great video I understood a lot ..

Can I use RAW files in deep sky stacker? Thank u!
