Wonderlands was stable so they figured out most of the crashing but then the bank in Wonderlands bank was non-functional. If BL4 is a new engine again we could be back to crash city.
For me, the gun rarity and parts in BL2 were perfect (the pearlescents mostly sucking wasn't good though!). Recognisable parts was huge for the farming thrill... after just a short while playing, you could recognise and appreciate a matching grip drop on a legendary. BL3 added too many unrecognisable parts with unpredictable effects - it totally removed the excitement from seeing a drop... all so they could claim they had a billion guns?!? I assume this self-defeating over-complication was the reason they couldn't fit in additional rarities as well.

I know comedy is subjective and all that but this movie had you a grown man laughing the whole time? The same movie where piss wash gully is a place where threshers live and peepee and poopoo all over the place and Tina doesn’t roll down her window causing pee to get in every where, you laughed at that? The same movie where claptrap gets shot a million times and in order to get the excess lead out of his body he poops it all out? The same movie where the main characters notice a flower growing in the “caustic caverns” that isn’t even a cavern but just a sewer and claptrap shows up and starts dancing on the flower? Ever since the third game came out I wondered what happened to borderlands edgy and funny sense of humor, where did we go from borderlands 1 to new tales to the borderlands movie all the jokes feel overused “claptrap did something annoying he’s useless and needs help again, something cringe and embarrassing happened who could have seen that coming” and its people like you that happened. The bad sense of humor, toilet humor = funny, yes men to gearbox, bending over backwards shills that will make all the excuses in the world to defend this garbage movie.

Jack would definitely have been hooked up to the new u. Infact I bet he would have had alternate routes. I also think that Jack upon "dying" could have had enough desperationmin him to essentially merge with the warrior. Kinda like tyrene and the destroyer. 2:25 I believe that's what Jack looks like if he merged with the warrior. Meaning it could be Jack but different fae Jack because of the merging.
Hope in BL 4 - new storyline - new vault hunter ( mybe Ava or tannis) - new rarity weapon - new world - system good for modded for experiment - last dont bring back char vault hunter BL1 & BL3 pls GearBox we need new vault hunter for fresh game.
Something i dont see anyone mention is that they should make bosses respawnable. Nothing more annoying than having to re invite friends when co op farming. Plus saving and quitting is an outdated gameplay loop
That honestly could be Krieg after the events of The Fantastic Fuckercluck, you don't get more mad than that. Or have something to do with Mancubus,Bloodtooth but that's....less likely. The fact that Elpis is moving, shows that Lilith who stopped the fall at the end of BL3 has likely, died and it continued it's collision course. The only thing I can hope is one of the new Vault Hunters is an Eridian Warrior. It may even have something to do with Horror At Scryer's Crypt and "The Seer" and the events spoken of there, being the very final DLC a big hint to BL4. But I can only guess, could be anything at this point. i would like to see Burton Briggs again though. Ava....not so much.
I have a theory about the trailer. Lilith transporting Elpis to that planet is a key that unlocks a prison planet. That's where the 7th Siren has been at. The antagonist for BL4 will be the 7th Siren that the Eridian's feared and locked away. That green crystalline stuff that was being pushed out of the way as Elpis got closer was a barrier of some kind. My question if this is true is did Lilith intentionally go to this planet or was she drawn to it?
I'd love like a demolition expert as the military class in BL4, because we had the soldier with Roland, the Commando with Axton and strangely enough they both used turrets just from different mega-corps. Then there is the Gunner with Moze, who's a heavy weapons/mecha expert. It would be cool to have a class focused on using grenades, mines, sticky explosives, grenade launchers, etc. Just to pack some extra punch in the play through.
That dialogue skip needs to be the first thing inserted. After starting a new character and playing the game through the first time, we're good. The subsequent TVHM and each new character after that was just torture. That's not even getting into how terrible at least the core game was as far as story. The second big thing I want to see is a music override in the echo settings. There's a lot of the music in the game for BL3 that I just found cringe like the entire sax bit. There were entire points in the game that I just resorted to muting and just playing RU-vid over because it was just that bad. Third thing I have to say is a must is agreeing with the dedicated loot pools. The core to the game type is grinding for that gear and there needs to be a 100% sourced location for each piece. Otherwise what's the point? I'd say for number four is that the diamond and gold key thing needs to be reworked. Look, I'm not going to follow them on social media wasting my time for loot that inherently isn't special. No seriously. Nothing about what's being handed out really has any controls and all of it can be farmed up at semi reliable sources in game. It's only a matter of how much time are you willing to put into grinding a given location. That being said since they don't give keys out at a significant enough rate to actually bother caring about the keys anyway, the keys themselves should be a drop in game. Frankly I've had more luck pulling stuff from the vending machines than I have in the entirety of pulling from the gold chest and don't get me started on the diamond keys. If they're going to be valuable, then they need to actually be valuable. Maybe add in that new rarity to them or give anything pulled from them such blatantly higher stats that it can't be mistaken as being sourced from anywhere else.
Aight since you asked, heres my list of 5 things we need for BL4, im here for a fun time not a long time in the next game. 1. Dropping reliance on SHiFT for multiplayer because its been broken in BL3 for at least a year. 2. BL1 Scaling for the love of god, big numbers for the sake of them being big doesnt work, we learned this in BL2 and for BL3 case and point: Binary Operator. Its completely useless at endgame and cant even kill like a bandit or something. 3. Traditional endgame, none of this OP levels / Mayhem levels garbage, its just not fun anymore Raid Bosses and Takedowns are fun, arbitrary goalpost moving and making everything a bullet sponge is not. 4. I stg if annointments come back im gonna scream. 5. A serious attempt at improving the customer support service, not one that goes, basically "Damn, youre telling me multiplayer issues are still present across 4 seperate sources of internet connection?? And this is the only game with this issue?? Huh... Sounds like an internet issue, heres a link to xbox support as it couldnt possibly be SHiFT is fucking garbage and poorly maintained lmao peace out loser" and closes the support ticket. (Yes this is a true story minus the obvious overexaggerated sarcasm, insults and swearing.) Bonus: A good story that treats the player as actually existing in the cutscenes with continuuity, pacing and plotholes taking priority in the experience.
I think Randy was telling the truth about the vault hunter DLC. While YOU may have played more than one character, most people didn't. Most people played the character that appealed to them and stuck with that character. Looking back, the ONLY reason I even played Gaige in the first place was because she was a pre-order bonus. Otherwise, I would have stuck with Maya. I think adding new skill trees is the way to go moving forward.
6:18 Istarted playing borderlands 2 like 3 days ago (After dropping it for months) and used Krieg, i dont think he is too bad, but the fact that to use his ability you need to run straigh to the enemy that can insta down you, kinda downplays it for me.
Yeah The Watcher is completely not an Eridian. I had a theory that they were a guardian with an Eridian consciousness inside it, but The Watcher legit has like 10 lines of writing total, so nothing was ever confirmed
