Blizzards should just remove the Shaman class until they actually want to fix it. I don’t play the class but the fact they’re always so unwanted is such a bummer. I wanted to play shaman in shadowlands but the other options were just too good. Shaman was a class along with Druid I enjoyed because the lore of a medicine man in tune with nature. I love that.
if they're gonna keep adding content where shit one shots you if you dont have a defensive up for the 3rd time being targeted because of rng i'd like to have ATLEAST one more DR. You know, like every other meta spec that also does more damage than enhance and ele?
The thing is with Stone bulwark totem u should be able to refresh its duration with TR since its a 2 min CD if it ends up being good CD we would have 2x SBT and AS 1,5-2 min so we should have 3 DR CD and in case when u have huge dmg over time earth ele +BP combined AG could be useful. It would be nice if they reworked Spirit wolf talent since it trash to give u 20%DR for 2 sec when u enter wolf to have some minor thing when everything is on cd and not spend 4-5 sec watching from damn wolf so u can live
they couldn't hire competent and proper game devs because they needed to fill out DEI quotas and hire unqualified woke activists who are more concerned about injecting their politics into the worldbuilding than they are about class balance and the gameplay. Just look at footage from the nee areas, I am sure they've spend more time putting beards on female dwarves than they have spend on class development.
I know blizzard is removing range extension, but I would like just a few yards for enh. It feels like you have to be up the anus of a mob before your in range to hit it
Another missed nerf for enhance is that you need to spend a point on spirit walker's grace to get ancestral guidance which is just a dead skill for enhance.
On the first point, in the class tree you don't need any extra button compared to live as the earthgrab totem is earthbind totem's replacement which is baseline, so a 3/10 would be warranted as in not worse than before but not better
I hope they remove the general class talent tree and just give us all the abilities by defult with the spell book by leveling hate having to change that part of the tree if I want maybe some more cc or mobility but that's not the best tree for dps or tank or heal in raids so I have to swap again and is also very annoying to put points in there beacuse you don't really need anything from there and it makes you waste time and there are a ot of other reasons to hate it
You can use totemic projection your surging totem and a new rain is cast. That's on a 10 second cd. So cast surging, get the downpour, projection for a second downpour, 10 seconds later projection again for a new downpour and then after the initial 24 seconds passes u can hard cast surging totem again. It's Def not as good as every 5 seconds, but you can now aim 2-3 rains per 24 sec CD. Not terrible. Tho I haven't actually tested yet.
It decreases the negativeness of what Blizzard did to ST indeed. However, it will require another button to press so... not very good with the whole philosophy of having less buttons to press for resto shaman specifically...
I'm glad they're getting rid of windfury. Playing with bad enhances who somehow forget to drop it drives me nuts 😂 (and it was just more button bloat that isn't even that good)
did they say the whole package wasn't pushed out yet? if that's the case why are people having a meltdown? This also won't be the only pass shamans will get so feedback is important but if people just whine at blizzard they will mostly ignore whats being said to them. They were pretty swift with most of the classes in the alpha and beta so I wouldn't start worrying just yet. If by the end of this month shamans still look bad then yea I can see the reason for complaints.
@sochimon5944 ya that is why I'm confused. Maybe I am wrong because everyone is still complaining about defensives when I thought the new talents looked to help alot
@@Levelity the tier set is very much the cause of the issues, the hero talent for the extra wolf would be fine without the set. Double the duration on wolves makes you have so many more up at any time and because their damage bones scales multiplicatively it is making EB damage go through the roof. The set bonus can easily be tuned down to like +50% duration or something and it would still be fine, but you can't really make the hero talent give half a wolf
@@woldenwolk That's my point. By lowering the hero talent scaling that boosts the damage based on wolves out, then your allowing the ramp time to have value and not gutting Ele blast for any other circumstance.
As an Enhancement main I am VERY happy with windfury changes: it frees up a point in the spec tree and removes pressing one of the worst GCD buffs to manage
It's incredibly sad to see people who actually AGREE with Blizzard that Enh Shaman is in a good place. MAYBE in raid but in M+ it feels like absolute trash to play. The Fire or Lightning build divide and hard target caps will forever hold this spec back.
and now getting into a raid will be much harder. so im looking forward to many hours of getting declined to finally get into a group that disbands after 1 wipe.
@@Tiemooo59 Yea I have no idea why they gave WF to every Shaman spec especially since they themselves said they didn't want to push raid buffs to justify a classes spot on raid yet here we are.
Blizzard: "We are adding this raid buff which puts all Shaman specs on the same playing field. Here are some changes to talents. There are more coming." Enhance 1 tricks: "It's all over spec is dead" Has to be the biggest overreaction I've ever seen by a spec community
Yeah man surely has nothing at all to do with the promise of change into nothing given, nerf, worsening of talent pathing, loss of talents points in budget, overall jank interactions with hero talents, and the degeneracy that is storm build continuing to exist as-is. Yeah you nailed it, it’s just the (objectively good) change to give the entire class a raid buff that has people upset
@@sochimon5944 so what? I do not know anyone who enjoyed putting down a Windfury Totem. As long as they fix other problems with the spec then I'm okay with it.
@@InkDevil999 we still have terrible defensives, bad target cap and now dont bring any unique buff... gonna be a nightmare to find raids or m+ groups. we actually waited all the time in beta for changes and the only changes are all bad for us...
@@Tiemooo59 all but 3 changes are bad for us yeah. Kinda sucks but Skyfury, Feral Lunge baseline and Maelstrom Weapon baseline are good changes. The rest we will have to scream loudly enough for Blizz not to ignore.
@@Tiemooo59 booohoooo, now all the specs get windfurry. The only way this affects you is if you raid race to world first or the highest keys which you prob dont. So stop bitching
Well the harder the specc is the more dps it should do. Aint rocket science. Bit apparantly easier specs always do better so harder specs should do more dps
No love for enhancement, im so sad i was specting for a mayor o real rebamp or rework, but this Is an insult for us, whats wrong with Blizzard doying this kind of joks
i play enhancemen shaman and fire mage. the changes here to enhancement are ALL BAD. we dont have a unique raibuff anymore so people can just get ele or resto and dont need more classes with weak deffensives and fire mage got nerfed into the ground.fire mage looked so good and now its the worst of all specs -.- i really hope they either buff fire mage again or change enhancement.
@@Uncle-Ruckus. you know, instead of complaining about other classes, perhaps you should just ask blizzard to buff your own class mage doesnt ruin the m+ meta. theres been plenty of seasons where mage wasnt #1 the only class that ruins the meta completely is auggie. that class is justified to complain about, because it ruins the otherwise beautiful landscape of diverse classes we had in dfs1, and like the invasive cancerous species it is, it ruins everything
@@lucid9949 Blizzard : Despite being the most tanky and always meta spec , we feel like mage is in a weak state so we are buffing them even more! mage does ruin the meta since they are always good, saying otherwise is just delusion.
@@Uncle-Ruckus. wrong. just because they are always good doesnt entail they ruin he meta. thats called a non-sequitor for example, in dfs1, mage was good. but there was still a huge amount of other classes who got title. it was probably the most diverse pool of specs who got title, maybe ever. this was a good meta for everyone but the second auggie came out, it was just exodia cancer every season, even after 904556 nerfs
Personally I guess as resto I liked the farseer tree they fixed my problem with it because undulation will trigger the spirits now....reactive warding especially with the extra earth shield charges you get from the tree seems like an ok spot heal and rewards you for letting them run out of charges instead of refreshing every pull.... There's more riptide synergy with key talents like primal tide core moved up and prim wave is a capstone I can take it or leave it idk I felt the changes were ok if you didn't rely on chain heal (I say that as im casting it less than 10 times a dungeon) like i dont rely on it
I remember one raid night a couple years ago, someone was complaining about too many buttons. I told them I had 32 active abilities on any given pull I have to use. Shut him up quick, lmao.
@@commonsense82Dont be dramatic. Ele has more button bloat than enh looking at logs. Looking at top ele log mythic fyrrak kill he used 24 class specific abilities, including bl once, earth elemental once, totemic projection once. And that also counts using gust and wolf. And singular healing surge. I can agree that some shammy specs have issue where their rotation dosent make sense (like enh not wanting casted ele abilities in rotation etc) but its not really different than other classes. Plenty of classes use 20+ abilities in combat.
i wonder why, lost a specc unique raid buff, still same defensive problem, still same target cap problem and messed up talents even more so we even have to waste 1 more point. would be ok for me if the 2 other classes i consider playing as main wouldnt he moonkin which is complete trash and fire mage which got nerfed into the ground and is now the worst mage specc and one of the worst of all classes...
well I am playing enhancement in Beta and we are tottaly not target capped anymore when playing the physical build. Tempest hits all targets, is often up and hits like a truck (careful with your aggro on pull type of truck). Your physical wolves also hit all targets and are a very big part of your damage. I have also tried a similarphysical build, but with totemic hero talent tree. This is also uncapped, because of your wolves and the surging totem which hits all targets. With both build I was first in dps in almost all dungeons I run. Al in all Enhancement looks good, although it is early to tell for sure.
Izen homie this video is an L, they said in the post that this isn’t even half the changes they’re making they just accidentally released these early. No point in dooming over what is clearly unfinished (yet still better than before).
What is shown in the post are all of the changes. What was initially implemented as hotfixes were accidental. Izen was reviewing both, meaning all of the changes at least at this point.
