The War Within Beta: Healer Raid Testing Results - With no changes but the Nerf to Holy Paladin, this is how Healers performed so far in the Beta, keeping a special eye to how many changes each Spec is receiving, which Hero Talents are being used, and what are the possible problems or strong points of each Healing Spec so far.

All healers should have something that gives them Mana back that is as effective as Mana tea. Innervate for resto druid should be reworked to function like Mana tea.

@@cat-vv9xb Nah. Rdruid has had major mana issues the entire DF xpac and no other healers had that issue. Innervate basically let you use 4 spells averaging around 7k mana and it is useless as fuck. As a resto druid you need to spam rejuv on everyone and so you go oom. I was going oom even with fragile echo. No one wanted me in their guild raids. The farthest I got was 6/9 mythic in amir before s4 and every other healer shat on me because I was going oom and had less hps compared to mistweaver and rshaman. also RDruid doesn't have any raid utility like an evoker, rshaman, monk and priest have so they deserve to have higher hps and no mana issues if they want us to be considered in a raid environment.

@@johndoee4964resto Druid went down in HPS because of the treat pet healing. Rdruid was way better with flourish buff but they got nerfed by blizzard so rdruid would be a top tier M+ healer. Sorry your bad in raid but you’re best in M+ 😊 that’s the trade off

Looking like another expansion of all top resto druids running double timewalking mana trinkets just to not go oom. Such a fun situation getting one roll at your BIS trinket every time progression comes around. I guess most of us will have to really consider re-rolling / taking S1 off from raiding if they are keeping this for another expansion.

^^ such a obvious metric that resto druid in raid has Mana issues. Blizzard can see that data & does nothing to rework innervate or change the base cost of resto druid spells.

It’s an attempt balance their two hero talents. Then hopefully buff the base kit to make up the difference.

So, few changes I'd suggest for healing according to this... 1) Buff overall healing for Rdruid for around 15% and make it so that Innervate either returns 10% mana as well or just increase its duration by 50%. 2) Buff overall healing for Holy and Disc Priest by around 12%. 3) Reduce mana cost of a few abilities for Preservation Evoker, roughly around 10% more mana. 4) Probably just make it so that Healing Rain can apply Earthliving like it was back in MoP/Cata. 5) Nerf Mana tea so that it gives around 40% less mana. 6) For Holy Pala it's kind of weird... But I'd say they're ok. When the other healers gets buffed and MW gets nerf, they should all be doing almost the same.

I have been wishing for all of dragonflight that the devs integrate an Atonement interaction for Prayer of Mending for disc priest. My idea would be that it applies or extends Atonement for e.g. 3 seconds. Therefore, you could build up future atonements when no damage is happening, have some maintenance where you refresh the PoM buff to preserve stacks and finally have an alternative (reactive) atonement applicator for outside your 45/90 second healing window. It just does not make sense to have it in the class tree, when only holy priest has spec interactions with it. I actually "use" it since I never cast Holy Nova in PvE and the theme of applying some future healing before pulls and extending the buff when you have the time to do so fits the disc theme actually quite well. It is currently just hardly worth casting because there are no additional synergies.

When i play Holy pala in dungeons on the beta i need to drink all the time because of going oom constantly because of the insane amount of damage everyone takes, but when i play casted mistweaver im constantly on full mana because of the insane power of mana tea right now. Preservation has OK mana aswell if you weave in disintegrates with the mana back talent every now and then, but holy palas mana is really really bad in comparison.

Its not even that Mana is OP. Disc dont really use mana in dungeons. Rdruid has catweaving and Innervate. Prevoker has feedback loop and EC mana return, Holy priest is quite efficiente too and has symbol... other than maybe what, r shammy? Hpal is the only outlier

@@RinaaaYa Mana tea is far stronger than anything else. Nothing comes close to its uptime, its sustain and its reduced mana cost of skills after channeling. Plus, in TWW they even gave it a little aoe frontal heal during its channel, if you wanna waste a point in the tree (dont).

disc doesn't have an interrupt and I think interrupts will be much more important in M+

Resto druid hero talents are passive... 😢 make hero talents change you play style please. There are a lot of ideas for that. Store over healing in a seed and let the druid pop the seeds or something like a the shadowlands shield from over healing...

The healer meta entirely depends on which dps and tank is good. The strongest healer isn't always the pick for keys.

Druid will always be king in m+ with battle res. All depends what is strongest; bear, boomie, feral or resto.

It’s literally the best M+ healer, it’s definitely not killed off, just sounds like you are raid healing focused. Pretty sure like 30-40% of all M+ healers are rdruids out of 6 healing specs lol

@@cat-vv9xb Exactly! Blizz made them the best M+ healer with grove guardians.. which is why I quit resto Druid in S3 because my focus is raid healing and I hate how the grove guardians functions in general

Lol rdruids wanting to be top tier in M+ and Raid healing 😂 like sorry the way Grove Guardians works it isn’t designed for mass AoE raid healing unless you’re underhealing the content on purpose by bringing less healers. Other healers can easily snipe away the grove guardians cleave heal if they’re spamming your target (usually tank) with all of your HoT’s on them. Also grove guardians is even worse for raid if you have a blood Dk 😅

It is fine that MW has infinite mana. I dont think any other healing spec has been such mana dependant than MW in its history. Remember the time you needed an innervation to use yulon or even spot heal. No worry fellow healers It will be corrected, just chill.
