We are an optimization company. As a company, we challenge convention when need be and demand things work better. Like you, we don’t compromise on performance. And when we identify a need in the market that should be addressed, that is when we get to work.
We’re not bound by the notion that we have to re-invent the wheel either. Sometimes it’s just about enhancing things that already exist. Other times, we have to challenge traditional dogma a bit more, but always with the belief that we can make your equipment better.
We also do that by maintaining the strictest quality control standards, effectively managing production times, maintaining proper control over inventory and turning around your orders with the speed you demand. All while being the most accessible company in the business. You won’t find faster responses to your inquiries/questions. Our commitment to making you better drives it all. And we don’t compromise on that.
It's a running change so all FDEs since the announcement have been this one. You may find dealers with some stock of the older FDE, but it should be few and far between.
Does the 3.0 full size come with the push button tail cap or is that a separate purchase only? Does the dual button remote switch come with the LCS dual button side plates or is that a separate purchase only?
The Rein 3.0 comes with push button tailcap and a single button remote switch. The dual button switch comes with everything you need including sideplates. It's a direct swap from the single button.
One part of the video says 15 in/lbs for the hardware to rail and another 35 in/lbs for the light to the mount. Another part on the video says 15 in/lbs for the light to the mount & 35 lbs for the mount to rail. Wich is supposed to be 15 in/lbs & wich 35 in/lbs?
With the old switches, for constant on you had to press and then let go for it to activate. Versus just activating the second you press it, and then staying on when you let go. Are the new switches this same way, or are they normal?
They are much easier to activate but are designed the same way. It's called a reverse latch switch for constant-on and allows you the ability to use it in a momentary off scenario. There are other manufactures with this same style for their constant-on switch. Our engineer Zach does a good job explaining some of the use cases here and why it's designed that way ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9xNCyDKgZHo.htmlsi=zzWW7vaohqe9GfIl
Hello. You must have an older box as the current packaging has both an instruction card and inline Mlok mount as shown in this video. There could be a QR code on the front of the box that takes you to the old tech PDF. The original picatinny mount you have is pretty straight forward. Just use the included two small screws to mount the picatinny mount to the light body itself. The two longer bolts are to mount the picatinny mount to your rail and screw directly into the mount. Feel free to reach out to support@clouddefensive.com if you have any questions.
@@lancecockerell4345 Yes you can. Just make sure you have the dual nested spring on your switch if using an older generation Rein. If you have a 2.0 you should be good. You can find info about that here www.clouddefensive.com/rein-faq
@@CloudDefensive it’s a beautiful set up! Anything with that G on it is glorious!🤣 thanks for replying and I look forward to seeing what the future holds!
Possibly. The end of the bolt will stick out a little from the nut but not excessive. They don't need a lot of torque to hold tight in most situations.
We went direct to dealer a few months back, similar to other manufactures. This allows us to focus on manufacturing and lessen lead times dramatically. Cloud products are available at all popular online shops such as Brownells, Midway, Primary Arms, Bereli, Optics Planet, etc, as well as through distributors and local dealers. It's a win-win for customers with faster ship times and typically even better pricing.
THE COMMENT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR. 1. Press repeatedly until in program mode 2. Now DOUBLE TAP (not click) to cycle modes (this is what I needed to know) 3. Complete your input by letting the light fully intesify from the setting you want. 2 was the big step for me because he’s not mentioning it’s two fast taps to go through each setting. I would get into programming then only do single taps and suddenly be out of programming. Hope that was helpful for someone.
Just a tip, about you don’t tighten the whole flashlight so damn much ! I can’t even twist off the flash head to insert my battery not twist the back end where the touch pad mount is. Absolutely terrible.
Will it be possible to buy the REIN with the momentary only instead of the constant on only? Both are the same price aftermarket so I don’t see there being an issue with that, and I’d like to buy the light as I intend to use it instead of replacing a switch I’d never use.
The standard offering is constant on based on user feedback. Some dealers may request a different button choice, but it is not the norm. It would be best to purchase the momentary only separate and you could sell the constant if you wish. Either way, you're still coming in less than our competitors and have the performance of teh Rein.
When will the dual switch be available, for peq and cloud light. I'm in hell right now trying to make your lights work on night fighting rifles... I was told it would be out right now, is it soon or should I go with a different brand?
Yes it will. ETA has been pushed back a little due to circumstances beyond our control, but they are absolutely coming and we're excited to launch them.
Got it and had it for a month.... battery or possible light is dead... and after use in attic for 30 mins o ring fell off light head and dead.. and reviews are in and it proves my same experience. Love the light but its just pure trash quaility. Ive used airsoft lights for $20 8 years ago that lasted longer, in way worse heat/sun... i get it china vs America but what ever dealer you guys are using is trash. I hate im defending china but seriously china is not this low in quality these days.
Sorry to hear that. It sounds like you may have received a lemon. We've had guys running these since initial launch and still going. Please contact our customer service department and we will get you taken care of.
I had 3 mchs and all flickerd. Multiple tail caps later all still had issues. I sold them all off. Last straw was trying to clear a house alone in the dark. All my mch duty did was flicker. I throw it back in the holster and did the job with my fenix flashlight. These lights have major design flaws and someones gunna get killed. Never again
Not sure what you mean? The Rein is a weapon light that includes both a push button and remote switch. If you need a handheld light we have the MCH and MCH Duty line which excel in that role and fully programmable.
@@CloudDefensive I must have misunderstood. It sounded like he said that you can buy a tail cap switch separately. Are you saying that I can leave the wired portion out of the assembly and use the tail switch that came with it? I don't intend to use it as a WML. Thanks.
Aluminum has been recently discontinued but there are still some out there. Check Amazon first then try Google search. We have one more small handful going out to distros.
