Hello! I have connected the speedometer and i am wondering one thing, my bike has original magnetic speed sensor with a magnet installed in the brake disc already. Its possible to use original magnet with chinese speedometer?
can you help please for some reason my tachometer is at max even without being connected also my gas gauge keeps blinking with it just being connected to the blue and white wire from the bike
my chinese cluster came with the wires labeled. but my bike they are not labeled. for a chinese bike what is the rpm signal wire? and also did you connect the neutral wire from the cluster directly to the top of the coil?
Thanku u sopved my karizma r 2011 cold start problem...what i did is with the help od acvelerator steel wire i made the hole of pilot jet a bit bigger by running one stand of thin wire than putting 2 stands and follwed by three strands of thin steel wire from accelerator cable and i kept on moving the wires in the pilot jet hole for some time which lead to increase in the hole size of pilot jet and now my motorcycle is idling proprly and doesnt goes off after you start it thanku....i didnt have jet available so i jave to do this diy mod with my stck pilot jet

Need help hooking this unit up to a drz400sm 2005 model. What I need to know is the colors for each wires that got to the speedometer to the bike 🏍 wires. I am having a hard time trying to figure it all out.

If your speedometer is mechanical, you need a converter from analogic to digital. If it is digital, so you need to conect the three wires cable from the Wheel to speedo, or install the 3 wires cable with the 2 or three magnets inthe Wheel yo fer the signal. In few words, there are no voltage needed, Just the 3 wires sensor cable.
It's a weird story because I'm in England and I went to a fle market I was looking through a man junk and I came across 1 of these knifes and the man couldn't open it and wasn't sure what it was I paid 50pence for it got it home and it's exactly the same knife made in Sweden very similar story rare little knife
my 2020 bashan storm has been over 10,000 miles. my question is, did the mikuni carb make that much of a difference? my bike is having issues and is could either be carb problems or electrical. this is frustrating because I dont know how to find out the problem to fix it quickly. please help however you can. please ask the questions that should be asked so we can fix this. i replaced the stock carb with a pz30.. i think is got me by but my have caused some extra problems. im not sure
A few trips to a muffler shop will cost as much as buying a cheap tig welder and learning something new! Edit: Okay nevermind. $20. Hadn't gotten that far yet. Definitely looks like a $20 weld 😬. Of course we are all more critical of whatever we spend our time doing and so as a welder I will always care about that more than a non welder. But seriously, there are some inverter machines that will get you tig welding for cheap, and they are actually quite good. The technology is just becoming less expensive. You should definitely look into it!
How's the visibility? I feel that reflections would make it hard to read I think outdoors in daylight (when 90% of its use will). I am considering one as a cheap and easy way to replace the broken mechanical gauges on an old bike.

It actually was a Sambo digital speedometer, I had bought it off Amazon. If you search Sambo Digital Speedometer it shows up on Wish now and a few other places. Thanks!

@@prawny12009 OK ..Probably so, I was so frustrated trying to get this vid up, I was thinking about not even finishing it. It ended up being too long and drilling through the brake disk was a nightmare. I didn't really understand what you were saying. Have a good one!
Not really, Last I checked it was all STAINLESS and roughly 200 degrees isn't enough to fuck up a heat treat....This was all derived using a very small amount of brain power also.
