I know if you have ended up here, you are either an EMT student, AEMT student, or Paramedic student. Whether you are looking for basic life support or advanced life support training, I got your back.
EMT Training and Paramedic Training can be very accelerated and students can get behind. My goal with this channel and my Video Study Course is to help students pass school and the NREMT Exams.
If you want to serve their community as an EMT/Paramedic should be able to do that, and that's why I'm here to decrease the failure rates of EMT School/Paramedic School and NREMT.
Whether you are preparing for EMT School/Paramedic School, in EMS classes right now, or studying for your National Registry/NREMT practicals or NREMT written exams this is the channel for you.
Your EMS Education home for aspiring EMTs and Paramedics, welcome aboard!
It took my diabetic husband over a year to heal after the EMTs had to do this to him.. I know it was necessary at that moment but it was still horrifying.
Im 20. From ages 15-17 I used to have V-Tach multiple times a day sometimes up to 15 minutes at a time. I tried tons of meds. Beta Blockers, Sotolol, etc. None of them worked. I was terrified 24/7. My chest hurt so bad all day. And I thought eventually I would quite literally drop dead. One day I collapsed in front of my mom. 2 days later I got a left ventricular catheter ablation. I was extremely lucky. I have a perfectly healthy heart and no underlying disease. It was Idiopathic Monomorphic V-Tach. Apparently, only 10% of V-Tach is caused by healthy hearts. I thought for sure I had a serious heart problem. I remember waking up from the ablation surgery and it was the happiest I had ever been. 3 years later and it hasn't happened since. V-Tach is terrifying on another level. You know any second you could instantly die. But I have a perfectly healthy heart, the cardiologists said I was damn lucky. I empathize with anyone suffering this. V-Tach is terrifying.
I remember when they found out I had SVT. Nurse at my elementary school couldnt count my heart rate. turns out it was 315+ bpm. Shortly after I got an ablation surgery. Although, since I was young my heart grew a lot in 12 years and now I might have redeveloped it :(
Bro I just took my emt final and your supposed to get a 80 out of 100 and I got 78 tuff one to take on the chin but I wanna thank you for making videos I really won’t think I would of made it as far as I did if I didn’t have your videos to learn from. There’s still hope my teacher emailed me to discuss my score on ceremony day
We don't start with altered. That's not enough to start diagnosing. We always do basic vital signs first. So if there's no fever they're obviously not septic! Do a thorough exam and vital signs before you start any of your acronyms.
Is there a cheaper way to get the vault? I’m finishing my emt class today, and want to take the nremt as soon as possible, but would like to watch all your videos first then take it to give myself the best chance at success
My father had none of those conditions or risk factors, AND he was a doctor, so he had lots of doctor friends. His symptoms were first misdiagnosed as an ulcer, and it was only four months later, when he became jaundiced, that his doctor finally ordered an MRI and the cancer was diagnosed. He lived for 11 months after diagnosis. It is an awful disease. I am really sorry for your loss.
