i've been bingewatching these podcast videos and i can't help but try to watch for a square in the background to slide offscreen perfectly into the upper left corner, like when we used to wait for the DVD screensaver to bounce perfectly into one of the corners. i just needed to make this known edit: a blue square very nearly does at around 15:28 but i'll keep watching edit: blue box at 22:14 is even better!

The MCI order makes sense if you think that Foxy and Chica are from the Mediocre Melodies and were Henry Emily's creations. William doesn't care as much about those, so might as well dump in there. Then he goes to Freddy, because he's reluctant to stash in Bonnie, because he's begun to think of Bonnie as representing himself in the Spring Bonnie suit. Eventually the urge to kill has him place the next victim inside Bonnie, because it isn't his Bonnie after all, it's Henry's version. Then he screws up, and kills The One He Should Not Have Killed. He kills Cassidy at Fredbear's, and there's no full animatronic to hide the body inside. He panics, and stuffs her in a spare Fredbear suit, but in his haste the springlocks trigger and eviscerate her corpse. Cassidy eventually gets found and William is taken to court, but the murder he committed isn't discovered, it's labelled a workplace accident of a child wandering where she shouldn't and getting too close to the suit. As a precaution, springlock suits are no longer permitted to be worn as suits due to the dangerous possibility of a "multiple springlock failure". Henry is suspicious, but the courts declared him innocent, but that doesn't mean Henry can't cut him out of Freddy's. Then, 1983, William happens to drive past a Freddy location, the one Henry works at, the one where he keeps his daughter, where he puts in extra security measures like Facial Recognition animatronics and a Security Puppet to keep Charlotte safe, except Charlotte isn't safe inside, she's stuck out in the rain, while Henry is busy inside with a Fredbear Birthday Bash(FNaF 2 minigame), William drives up, and takes his revenge for being cut from the business. Now, William isn't allowed at a Fazbear location (lawsuit and all that), but he still has rights to toys, merchandise, and there's nothing stopping his kids from going to Freddy's, and being a former owner has it's perks, so CC's birthday will be held at Freddy's, despite his protests because of what he saw (Cassidy being stuffed by William, but he was too young to understand or give testimony at the trial). Then, fate takes its toll, and CC is put in a coma by the very animatronic that almost put an end to William's murders. Maybe it was the servos clamping down on CC, maybe it was a Vengeful Spirit.
I have 2 points to make, and I'm showing up to the party 9 months late so I don't expect anyone to read them, but here we go! 1: I don't think that Elizabeth is part of HW 2's Baby, for 3 specific contradictions to her character from Security Breach. First, she says "I like it here", next she never tries to subvert or manipulate the player like she does to escape in Sister Location. Third, she only knows to give ice cream, not what's supposed to happen when she gives the ice cream to a person alone. This isn't Elizabeth, it's a reconstruction of what Baby was supposed to be, based on public information. It's Baby's facade, with nothing malicious underneath, like a mimic only using public information. 2: I wonder if we're only Cassie's dad (aka Jeremy) during the VANNI mask-on portions of HW 2, and so the true player of HW 2 is whoever's playing when the mask comes off, trying to delve through and piece together Jeremy's memories enough to get him to give up the piece of William lodged in his digital copy, AKA the Claw Machine Ending. In this way, both endings can be canon, with Jeremy getting absorbed to the system and being trapped in Mask Bot while the unnamed player who could be Vanny comes along and plucks out the bit of William and crushes him.
The lil rant about the struggle of grooming your cat is so real. Every word is exactly the scenario I am in w my cat, he absolutely hates water, he hates even the sound of running water he hisses at it. And he literally will only let me bathe him, he will fight like he’s being killed if anyone else tried ( my bf who also raised him has tried). I’ve been scared to send him to a groomer bc I just know he’ll give them a hard time

Imagine the speedrun from the perspective of the game people: Man runs into work, handles machines like he owns the place, throws away a bunch of Chica-Themed items, grabs a doll from the trash, quits. Man gets hired to watch Ballora all night, he stays for 20 seconds, unlocks a drawer, grabs doll, quits on the spot.
What if we've been thinking about the creation dates wrong, and all the animatronics were created and spread around before 1970, 1983 is just when the golden springlock suits were still in action at an older establishment? That's how the girl could have FNAF 2 toys in the FNAF 4 minigame and how Michael and his friends could have FNAF 1 character masks.
I think at least in "into the pit" that there might have been another child in the MCI. I'm currently re reading the book and on page 41, it says "Half a dozen kids, none of them older than Oswald" which means 6 not 5.
Since you're wondering about the question of pngtubing, gonna give my little opinion on it ! Every youtuber who does it have his identity built around it, and it kinda was their starting point so we recognize them for it. Personally I recognize you more with the camera approach and I think it is still different from others using camera; chilling in your seat telling stories, with the cats coming to get pet. This vibe is part of what makes your identity and I like it. But at the same time it doesn't prevent you from using pngs when you need, for content where you feel like it fits more or when you're in need of a backup plan (don't feel unable to use it even as emergency because you're still in reflection about the idea). At least those are my 2 cents. In any case good luck for your next works, I'll look forward to it !
I'm guessing Princess Quest doesn't activate without access to the glitch coin, which I thought you only got when you got all the memory dolls. So Glitching into the backroom early would probably be useless other than getting the mask off early, which I guess lets you access the glitch levels early.
If the MCI Spirits went through the constant agony of not only death, but melting down, then fleeting freedom, then more trapped, then finally seemingly free again, just to he trapped again and burned? That would explain why the tangle is so full of agony, hence why it has these black slimy tendrils making up it's body, it's been through that much agony, and then the tangle proceeds to gather a bunch of agony imbued relics in that museum area of the pizzaplex, giving it enough power to eventually escape from the pizzaplex so many decades after the spirits within were trapped. And then the Spirits shed a bunch of the agony and relics so they can escape. Because the tangle that escapes from the pizzaplex in ruin is way smaller bodied than the tangle was in SB. So with that in mind, eventually after it dug for long enough, leading to the pizzaplex falling apart and collapsing, it no longer needs the massive strength of all the relics from within it, so it sheds all agony and relics that weren't from the MCI themselves, and left.
The question about how to introduce people to the fnaf lore was really helpful! I’ve been wanting to do a fnaf lore for dummies fan panel at a convention but I haven’t because I’ve been stuck on how/where to start. Now I know what to do, thanks Rye!
Hopefully you mean OG Lockstin and Gnoggin, because I miss my salty boi and his way of looking at the other side of a story. I stopped watching not long after they got rid of him officially.
Withered foxy could be but chica would have an reasoning , izs mentioned that chica is fame hungry and always spotlight, and she would maybe be mad since the other animatronics got more fame so she maybe bit Jeremy ?
