So CC doesn't remember his name AT ALL. Cassidy doesn't remember their name, but somehow, CC does know Cassidy's name, to an extent (Parts of her name). And when CC is trying to remember it, Michael comes in to finish the name off. Tbh. That IS an interesting look at it. I'm not sure if it's canon, as it's such a small thing. But, based on the evidence provided here, that CC and Michael know Cassidy's name, but Cassidy doesn't, it IS a fun theory. Aside from CC and Michael possibly knowing Cassidy before they died. It could also be that Cassidy has some of CC's memories, and CC has some of Cassidy's, which could explain how he knows her name without ever meeting her. (We also KNOW Cassidy DOES share CC's memories as she knows about "Psychic Friend Fredbear," the telephone toy, his birthday party, etc) As for Michael knowing Cassidy's name, he COULD just be aware of all the MCI kid's names and put 2 and 2 together. I prefer the latter, as its more interesting if CC and Cassidy only met AFTER they both died and became spirits.
Wait, I think I'm missing something. Did Scott confirm that this game will be in the same continuity as the official scottgames games and the Steel Wool games? Isn't this just an adaptation of a Fazbear Frights story (aka. familiar, but not strictly canon nor in the same continuity)?
Maybe Henry says "it's time for all of to rest", not saying they'll all die, just that all of their minds will be at peace, maybe he's trying to say setting them free will give him peace too, mentally, but not him litteraly dying
My main problem with Cassidy not being CC, and I've always had this problem with them is... Who the fuck are they then? I mean, yeah we can explain that they died more painfully than the other kids so are especially angry but like seriously, in a story about the Afton Family™ why is the one who gets to torture William just.. some kid. Why not Charlie, Elizabeth, Michael, Henry or CC, why is it this kid? And as Dual Process pointed out, there is very little evidence that this kid exists. Aside from the name in the log book, and the fact that someone has to be in Fredbear/Golden Freddy, we're missing evidence that they exist. I think, as Dual Process said, if they were to exist, why is there only one Golden Freddy Voltron, or Golden Freddy Poppet? And either interpretation of CC is also unsatisfying to me. You could argue that the reason why there is only one representation of Golden Freddy in HW2 is because CC was buried and never actually possesses the Fredbear suit. Then that just kind of makes CC irrelevant to me. Why introduce this character, make them related to the main antagonist, associate them with the Fredbear, kill them, and then just leave them out. It also invalidates a whole lot of other points. If CC is possessing Golden Freddy, then that also feels like they're being undermined. Why do they just get to be a passenger in the suit? Why is that this random kid has more plot relevance than he does? And again, why is Fredbear only ever represented as one child. Also, if CC never touches the suit outside of the bite, how does he end up possessing him? If the argument is that Cassidy has to be the vengeful spirit because William is wearing the Fredbear suit in PizzaSim, then why is physical association important there, but not here? It feels inconsistent. I generally think that CC being Cassidy solves a lot of problems. It makes CC actually be part of the MCI, it makes every Golden Freddy appearance be them. It feels like a plot thread that goes from fnaf 1 to UCN. Instead of two plot threads, one going from fnaf 4 to... fnaf world, and one that goes from fnaf 1-2, then picks back up in PizzaSim-UCN.
I loved their video, for the longest time I’ve given up on most fnaf theories because so many of them aren’t actually trying to solve anything and are just what ifs like ‘Does Baby is the mimic?!’ Dual Processes video has come up with their own valid interpretations and that is the stuff I love to see. They also aren’t using all of the stupid book lore as their main argument which isn’t satisfying because there’s like 50 of them and I haven’t got time for that😂
Wouldnt it be really neat if scott opened a real life fnaf pizzeria somewhere... He certainly has the money to do it... I bet it'd be so successful that he could even expand it across the US...
I have said for years UCN is about Mike. The whole game is based around Mike's history. Golden Freddy drowns saying "I Hate Mike" They say the line "the one you should not have killed" over and over and over, cause Mike only killed one person... His brother. William Afton literally attacks you! There is no debate on this one. Anyone that says the game is based on in William Afton's own hell just wants to end the story with a nice little bow. Afton lives on in Security Breach. Mike is nowhere to be found or is in the blob. This stuff is crystal clear.
I was thinking about the ride in fnaf ruin with the story of monty. I think its just something they made so the kids stop asking about bonnie. So they made up this story that he "retired" and gave the guitar to Monty.
Can we talk about the exotic butters and foxy mask being right next to each other? Perhaps further hinting that Michael Afton is the Foxybro because some people still doubt that
I think any easter eggs we see like the helpy arcade cabinet and the exotic butters in the vending machine won't actually have much lore significance, and, for the most part, anything of lore significance will be pretty obvious and shoved right in our faces. I do think there will be one exception to this though: the return of the death minigames. These have always been extremely important to the lore of the games they've showed up in and have always been very cryptic, symbolic, and barebones, only showing what Scott deems necessary. So for those reasons, I think the majority of the random easter eggs are just fun little call backs to older games, but I think there will still be some hidden lore in the death minigames since they are like separate flashbacks/views into a different time in a way.
William didn't need to put CC body inside GF (and yes, he most likely didn't - I believe Fnaf 4 is about William trying to make CC possess blank animatronic/Nightmare by torturing him). I believe GF in robot-mode is the Animatronic responsible for this bite, therefore connection was most likely created through Agony.
the red eye bonnie scare seemed similar to how foxy bro scares crying child under the bed in fnaf 4 maybe bonnie bro what a child sees is always not as it seems
I've always believed that the 6 dead kids was basically FNAF saying "Afton killed 6 kids" Im generally of the opinion that the books are more like "this is the laws of physics of the FNAF world/how it could have happened but not specifically how it happened"
I'm going to assume this is bait? Scott said way back that the Frights books are intended to answer questions from the past, ITP being the one to give a definitive explanation as to when the MCI occured. Why would the book that is said to answer questions just have an incorrect date? In the ITP game, the calendar does say June, and in FNAF 1, we learn that the MCI occured on June 26th.
@@Personian he said the books aren't canon and should not be used to figure out the games. It's impossible for the MCI to be in 85 since circus baby's opened after freddys closed and we know from minigames that Elizabeth died in 83. The MCI happened in 83
@@novustalks7525 Okay, then... if it really takes this much to explain, then: A) He only said that for the novel trilogy. And also, he changed his mind about not using it at all, since FNAF 4 was originally intended to be the ending, but since he decided to continue with SL, he decided to use the characters introduced in the novel trilogy as a base. B) He said that the games will look to the future, and Frights will answer questions from the past, also directly stating, "some directly connected to the games, and some not," which is very different than what Scott said about the novel trilogy. C) Regarding Tales, Scott has literally never talked about the canonicity of those books, not even a single mention. I'm perfectly okay with people having differing opinions, but it becomes an issue when you get blatant information wrong. Frights is supposed to answer questions from the past, and it sure does do that. It gives us the solution to UCN, it explains how remnant and agony work, it gives us the definitive year of the MCI. Tales is specifically designed to answer questions about the modern era of FNAF, specifically the Security Breach era, with The Mimic and how it works, explaining FNAF 4 (which isn't an SB-era game, but got explained in an SB-era book, which is weird, but okay), it explains some more abut how spirits work in the FNAF universe, etc. So please actually try getting prior information about what Scott Cawthon himself has stated first (or do research, which doesn't take that long) before making a comment, because you are just making yourself look bad in the process.
If the MC is reliving memories from the agony of kids, could his dad becoming golden bonney be part of the memory of the child of Afton finding out their dad is the killer.
One interesting detail to note is that according to the FNaF 1 newspapers, the MCI took place over the course of multiple days, so I'm curious to see if Megacat will retcon that or not.
Dual Process's theory came up on my recommended when it came out and even though I am not a FNaF fan I love longer videos, so I watched it and thought it was so good. Went to their channel and saw it was their first video and that was when I was like "holy shit they need to blow up".
Bonny doing the floss could be a clue that proves it isn't time-travel, and that small details from our main characters time leak through to fill in gaps that may be left in these memories, or gaps in knowledge of the character, himself
i personally believe that the characters dont have a animatronic form but were characters at one point as game characters etc so that tying them to their animatronic forms makes more sense like for instance jacko chica in UCN could be explained as William saw her as a game character and cassidy manifested those memories into a physical form
i personally believe that Matpat is crazy because of the placement of elizabeth's death, after FNaF2. it undoubtedly happened after the MCI and before the DCI.
But that last bullet point is of special interest, and we all know how much this community loves it's special interests When i tell you i had to stop wjat i was doing and laugh
Im glad to be one of two comments because he'll see it! Hi :D you, Mat, and John FuhNaff are my main theory channels! I wont forget about Dual Processing after they entered the spotlight with their first video.
9:30 I believe these are two different rooms. The doors and everything else doesn't line up very well. I reckon GF is just a hiding spot that keeps appearing and not one hiding spot in one room
There is also the fact that with all those children in the pizza place that begs the question was Freddy's so popular it was the the number 1 spot to go after school or is it perhaps summer/spring time?? Also I find it interesting that the stuff like Helpy and Jack-O-Chica are here since those are specific things to add and they must know that people might wonder if it's an easter egg or not.
ITP Spring Bonnie is a manifestation of Afton’s agony in the book’s continuity that essentially serves as one of Elenor’s many forms she takes to fester off of remnant and agony so theoretically the ITP game has to be yet another alternate timeline. Plz spread my theory
This could also mean that the “6th” victim could actually be Elizabeth trying to make the MCI kids think that she is like them and the thing you mentioned about Baby could be Elizabeth trying to fuel their rage and Baby trying to manipulate them which makes me think that that aspect of the game could be representing how Baby forcefully had control over the others and why she was eventually cast out of the hive mind
Maybe the exotic butters and other out of place stuff is related to the fact that is a 10 anniversary game trying to show a lot of Easter eggs of the era
