Skipped through to the PLP section because I am in a PLP! I came out as a lesbian 4 years into my marriage with my husband (just celebrated our six year wedding anniversary on Saturday!), and we decided to stay married and raise our kid together because we are still best friends and he is my person 💖 we are polyamorous, and both have romantic/sexual partners that match up with our preferred gender. I absolutely love how even tho you are cis/het/monog you give so much rep to our communities on your channel and podcast 🏳️‍🌈 happy pride!

OMG never heard anyone talk about compulsary sexuality before. I didn't even know asexuality or aromanticism were a thing for so long and I've hated growing up in a society that thinks you're not a proper adult or that you are missing an aspect that will make you complete until you've had sex or a long term relationship. Glad there are voices out there.

Your comments about ED are so valid. My husband has been suffering, and it’s down to medication for high blood pressure. We had no idea it could affect the body this way. Between that and menopause, our sex life has been suffering, but through open communication we have managed to hold it all together

I found your channel by recommendation from my boyfriend. I’m nonbinary and he’s cis, we’re both ace & arospec in a romantic & sexual relationship, and I’m really grateful that he’s been dedicated about communication and consent from the start. And he’s helped me become more comfortable with sexual things and encouraged me to learn more, so I’m really glad I’ve found your channel, it’s very informative!

I always joke that my parents are just best friends, I think they are just in a much less queer & sex positive generation so they don’t have the words for it or the ability to define it as anything other than a “normal” marriage. It's the same like naming the spectrum of transgender and cis-gender. The majority of ppl is currently considered to be: allosexual | cis-gender | of male or female sex | heterosexual | monogamous The minority of ppl is currently considered to be: asexual | trans- or nonbinary | of intersex | homo-, bi- or pan-sexual | polyamorous and trust me I've forgotten stuffs for sure so this guide is by absolutely no means complete!!! Just add what is missing if you feel like it

I feel like seeing scientific data will help determine if it is a myth. By default that changes the answer type to an opinion? To be egalitarian conclusions should come with caution. It must force some people to be inactive. It sucks, but there is not really a one size fits all for winning. We can take several approaches to with which athletes compete where, but i would like to not have any athlete feel excluded. And that can happen if we do not have data to backup why we are letting gender ideaology in the Olympics. No?
@Jodie_May92
@Jodie_May92 Год назад
I liked the questions around whether social factors are at play with the differences in performance between the genders. I really want to do some more learning on how gender can affect sports performance because this is one area where I feel like my lack of understanding is a barrier for me. I’ve had a really hard time trying to determine what “fair” looks like to me for sports that have been segregated by gender. If society accepts that people with XY chromosomes generally perform better in some sports than people with XX chromosomes, and that we’ve traditionally segregated these groups for competition purposes due to this difference, I can understand why people with XX chromosomes would be resistant to being asked to compete against people with XY chromosomes, and the only way we will ever understand if it is a fair thing to ask is to do an appropriate amount of research to determine what actually causes the difference in performance and segregate on those terms instead. I think the current stance of letting people believe that trans-women have a biological advantage helps no one, as it encourages cis-women and sporting spectators to think trans-women shouldn’t compete due to this advantage, but it also hurts trans-women who do compete and work really hard for any achievements which are then often chalked up to this perceived advantage, rather than an acknowledgement of their hard work.
@KxNOxUTA
@KxNOxUTA Год назад
Also what about all the ppl with XX cholosomes and XY cromosomes (or tripples ones lol) who don't fit their gender role category while being cis and would actually do better in another category X'D Cause it turns our that even all the "only women can..." videos, putting stuff like flexibility to test, can actually not be done by some women and can be done by some men X'D I love figure skating as examples. In pair skaing there's a skate and dance category. The first concentrating more on athletic achievements while the later concentrates more on artistic ones. Meanwhile the men and women single skaing events take these two things and basically split them by gender. And know what? Quads (4-turn jumps) have stared to take over men's competition and killing the art in there. Meanwhile (sry if I'm no longer up to date) quads are outright forbidden in the short program (aka the performanc that leans heavier on technical scoring). The scoring is different. And there's this crazy thing that we seem to find it acceptable to confine the performance of women AND find it OK to encourage dangerious performanc practices in male skaters while letting them slack off more of their emotional expressiveness etc. Sth. like different classes (like weight classes) but going by preformance types makes so much more sense. You could have the JUST technical accuracy competitions with different levels (aka jump categories), the artistry ones that keep jumping to a bare minimum and don't score them high, and the mixed category, cause there are amazing skaters of all genders who are actually epic at both.

@@blackfrost273industries4media has an agenda against islam. Things which are seen as modest and contole of emotion are seen as extremism. Men in islam specifically reverts see a massive improvement in life satisfaction in that you can have right (traditional) roles which biologically fit your nature and left wing also in supporting the women around you achieve what they want. Aka Islamic ideology is both right and left wing it is not extreem red nor blue pill hence why male reverts in the UK are increasing massively.

Giving a child opportunity to express their position is different from "letting them figure out their sexuality". OF course the parent would prefer if the child is heterosexual. Only very unloving or unwise parent would wish otherwise. Children who are not heterosexual should have freedom to express their position, but parent should make it clear what is norm and what is the deviation from the norm.

I think it is interesting that people deny that being Trans doesn't give you an advantage in sports. When you go from being a male to female after 18 years as a male your body has developed differently and you have bigger muscles usually and are stronger because of that. Then you go compete against women with smaller weaker muscles and it is no wonder that the Trans athlete wins most of the time. Explain how that isn't an advantage for one person. There are exceptions to this but most of the time it is true. I'm not trying to judge I am only pointing out what should be evident based on anatomy and development of boys and girls

@KxNOxUTA
@KxNOxUTA Год назад
Humans are not monogamous !!by default!! And what do general trends have to do with individuals? You REALLY need to sort out your discernment when it comes to processing information. 99% of ppl can be one thing and 1% of people is still a large ass number of individuals who have different needs. That said, even when it comes to group dynamics: Just because the majority of ppl was raised with an assumption of monogamy at the current point in time, that does by no means mean that it's good for them just cause they live that way (cause everything else - especially for women - was utterly inacceptable to society) X'D And since when must people who talk about topics, live out what they speak about and e.g. completely and personally align with it. You know how many therapists out there speak about things like neurodivergence but have 0 personal experience of being that way? Or how many doctors speak on health and never struggled with those parts of them? :'D How many animal experts have never been any other animal than human? XDDDDDDD
