Civ 6 AI Only Battle: Renaissance Era Armies Battle

Unique units of the Renaissance Era combined with regular corps were brought here by five fearsome Leaders to conquer the one Legendary City. Sun Tzu once said, "Whoever controls the Warsaw, controls the world." By common opinion, this quote is fake, but Civ 6 AIs never were the bright ones, so they came to Poland. And the Great Renaissance Battle (officially known as the Drunk Brawl for three Huts) was about to begin.
It's a free-for-all battle, every leader/civ in war with each other. I used the latest version of Civilization VI: Gathering Storm with all other DLC & Expansion Packs for this battle.

@@alex2005z Well Vox Populi mod for Civilization 5 says otherwise, its just that turn times are going to be unbearably long even for PC, let alone consoles etc. The computing power just isnt there yet, and neither is incentive.

It can't be that hard to write a better AI then this. Ranged units: >if adjacent to enemy melee unit and not in a city/encampment, run away, making sure not to go adjacent to another enemy melee unit >if not adjacent to enemy melee unit, or in a city/encampment, and an enemy unit is in range, attack enemy

Korea absolutely threw there, they were basically set up to win. Not only is the Hwacha absurdly strong on attack, it's also a Ranged Unit, not a Siege Unit, meaning it deals full damage to Units. They literally had everything going for them. Kinda like in the base game. On the other hand, Mapuche were set up to lose. Malon Raiders vs Anti-Cav, not my first choice and nothing to defend their back line. The fact that they took Warsaw was the only reason they weren't wiped first.

This is why the only hard thing against Deity AI is the early game where they spawn next to you and completely fuck you ub because of their bonusses, once you get a bit more in the midgame its just a basic game

Does the AI just not know how to use/position siege units? So many times they just move them next to an enemy unit, or ignore a shot they could make to move them somewhere pointless.

I think Korea and Spain must've had a friendship, idk if that's possible in these AI only matches, but it's the only explanation why Korea wouldn't instantly destroy all of Spain's disorganised units. But that last minute where it was just players constantly either making shit moves or not moving at all while still being under bombardment range proves your point.

@@juneslugg2 unfortunately, you're wrong. If that were the case, well, diety would be a LOT harder. But nah, the only thing that changes is bonuses. Also the whole demolishing an army ten times as large as yours, them falling into your traps, not making any traps of their own, and they didn't even use an air force 99% of the time until i believe the march update.... Oh yeah and they also dont do ideologies, policy cards, you get the point. Its REALLY easy to completely flank and spank civ6 ai, no matter if it's Settler, Chieftain, Warlord, Prince, King, Emperor, Immortal, or Diety. I mean, come on, two eras behind. that should already speak for itself when it comes to AI Competence.
