Hi Nicola New here Not yet diagnosed with Fibro but after research and speaking to several people with it . I think I have it! I have been too the rheumatologist who said “Oh if could be that but I’m not convinced” I just want a diagnosis. Like you say I don’t want to have it but I want to know if I do . X
@@jessicahall3422 hi Jessica, it can be tricky to get a diagnosis. Usually it's after 3 months of unexplained pain but my rheumatologist was also reluctant to diagnose me so the pain clinic did. Maybe go back to your GP to discuss with them?

Paper mill lock looked lovely 😍😍. I also love sultanas in cake, I couldn’t have it when my daughters were at home because neither of them like them but now they’ve moved out I can chuck sultanas in everything 😂. I’m itching to carry on sorting out my garden but can’t at the moment due to bad joint pain, I have Polymyalgia Rheumatica as well as Fibro but it hasn’t responded to treatment very well so now I have to go back to the Rheumatologist to see what they say. I’m normally on steroids to control it but they want to see me without having taken any so I’m in agony at the moment and very bored as I can’t got to work but can’t really do anything else either. I’m taking myself off out into town tomorrow to buy some pet supplies and visit the library . Hope you have a good week xx

This was interesting... I've not heard these before. I think i was in stage 4 but have slipped back to stage 3. I've been having a bad flare since June and am starting to doubt everything. Is it physological, is it because my iron is low... will I ever be better or will I be in constant flare or aleays pacing myself to the extent I do so little.
My husband chucks cat poo into the field behind our garden but if we didn’t have that he would flick it into the garden of the culprit cat! The walk along the river looked lovely. Hope you have a good week. SOLAR LIGHTS x
Hi to u both it was a great video I wish I went out like u do it seems like u have great day outs I seem to staying in a lot this weather does not help with r fibromyalgia and my anxiety it’s not good it makes me so sad having a bad week sorry to go on hope all goes ok for poppy hot chocolate station yes I have been loving ice coffee so nice from Jackie 🪴🌷🌸🌈 loved the garden and all the lights mark did look good In that colour t shirt 😊
@@jackieedwards2023 sorry to hear that. What stops you going out can I ask? I am in constant pain while out but it sometimes distracts me. I also suffer with anxiety so better if I am with people I know. I don't know if that is possible for you? 🤔😊❤️
Hi Nicola, loved your vlog I needed some light relief, I buried my dad on Monday the hottest day of the year, standing round the grave was hard in that heat, my fibromyalgia has been awful this week, but you cheered me up, thanks Nicola 💕

I know you may not be religious, but would of liked the cross with Jesus on it as it means a lot to me and my faith ❤ (Although in my heart I know he has raised from the dead) Anyways, I am.always in support of you Nikki. Super lovely vlog overall and loved that you guys chilled by the narrow boats and had a nice walk. Sorry you are still struggling with Fibro and always in my prayers. I have to go for surgery at the end of October to have my thyroid taken out, but will be in Montana and then in England at the end of September and beginning of October at least. I look forward to baking with Poppy as those videos are always so hilarious 😅

@@carolhydon7324 I know, it doesn't make sense! You try to be good not drinking it and you still have to pay a lot! Yes, roll on the cooler weather, although my Fibro will react to that too. 🙄😊❤️
Hot chocolate station: yes! Ive just bought some today, feels nice & cosy already. Also, i eagle eyed the Hogwarts Express sign at the car booty - as im on painting it at the moment (one of those figure sets, I've already done mini Harry, Hermione & Ron that come with the train 😊

Great vlog Nicola 🙃 good luck poppy on your exam results. Just a quick question both as you mentioned poppy cutlery & plates does she take her own to restaurants? As have seen you all having meals out just wondering & if so do restaurants mind you bringing your own ? Sure most won’t mind but get the odd one or two who will be knarcky lol 😂 Love your walking stick too where you buy it from Nic or did OT supply it ? @@Adara11.11 we don't take a plate but have taken her cutlery before you can get a holder for it. My walking stick is from cool crutches. I actually won it in a competition and it is my favourite stick! I would highly recommend! 😊❤️

My sister used to be same she had ocd very severe too she’s no longer here passed away 9 years ago of heart failure 😞 miss her so much just watching another of your vlog where you going to look after your sister. So kind & caring gotta cherish our loved ones as much as we can 😘❤️
@@LordandLordettes very true Nic ❤️ Thank you in fact lost two sisters who passed young also my mum & dad passed so just me & kids well they’re all adults now & two beautiful grandkids they’re both so precious. 💙🩷 both have autism etc. My previous job & qualifications - a senior in supporting adults with autism & learning difficulties etc was so rewarding, I do miss it terribly. Life is a journey isn’t it - & I guess we all gotta leave this planet at some point it’s the circle of life. @@Adara11.11 I am very spiritual too. It's a way I feel connected to my Dad but also so death doesn't scare me thinking it's the end. I look at it at another form of life. That is why I love anything to do with the supernatural! I miss my job so much but love my little You Tube channel giving me purpose. Take care. 😘

I would have been so tempted to return the cat poo to its owner over the fence. I have the same problem but our grass is artificial and is not that easy to poop scoop plus I then have to clean it so my grandchildren don’t get any of it on them. I don’t have any SOLAR LIGHTS but am now thinking about getting some after this weekly. The weather this week has been a fibro killer for me too and my husbands COPD we’ve been like a pair of old crocs. Cannot wait for autumn. Have a great week Nicki x

I’m in a flare and as a single parent have to do things that I really don’t want to do. I wish I could just rest and relax but I can’t. Have very little money. My life is hell, but I have to push through it because of my daughter.
I was just recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. We just thought it was just my other chronic illnesses ( lupus/ rheumatoid arthritis )that were pain issues and they did. However, Dr's finally figured out that I have fibromyalgia I am in stage 4😑
Can you come to mine Nic & clean out my wardrobes & cupboards please. I flare for days after I attempt so give up on them. Got loads to go to charity & live in an apartment so it’s not the most spacious place to live. Great for the bathroom though it’s literally around 8ft from my bed 🙏🏼so glad I don’t live in a house I’d never cope. Moved from a four bedroom house to two bedroom apartment & it’s easier & far cosier plus no garden to maintain 🌳 got Julianne doors though so catch the sun from my living room. Fair play to you with the upkeep & keeping active. Inspirational indeed ❤😘
I take 10mg of amitrityline every night, without which I cannot sleep at all, but then I'm drowsy the next day. Some days the drowsiness is so bad but it's dibilitating!!
Happy birthday to Poppy 🎉🎉 I agree when it comes to primark sizing, it really winds me up 😀having said that I do love their PJs as they last well and wash nicely too
Thanks for this, i dont know what stage im at. I started feeling bad in 2016. I went to a pain doctor that told me i had Fibro but the next visit she decided i didnt so i just quit going to her. She never could make her mind up. My family doctor knows that i do and all my symptoms are a copy. I have a hard time here trying to find the right doctors for this.
@@lynnewoodby8227 that is so frustrating. Getting a good GP can be very hard. Maybe phone up a few surgeries and ask at reception if any drs specialise or are particularly good with chronic illness? I got lucky with mine, she is great as although she is like most who doesn't really know much about it, she listens to me and goes with what I want to do or try while giving her medical advice. I hope you find someone to help. Have you tried supplements as I find these very helpful?
