So the tent came In , the center section cracked on the 3rd time opening. Don’t waste your money on this thing it’s not worth it. And their customer service still hasn’t contacted me back. I’m not impressed.
Awesome video! So my annex came with 2 sets of poles. 1 long pair and 1 short pair. Do you know what the short ones are for since the long ones are to jet out from the base of the tent forward?
@@alexandervencespuebla3062 yes, I had to do some trimming for it to fit and look flush with the body, but was not difficult. I may change to aluminum liners in the future but I haven’t seen the need yet

My 3rd gen 4runner gets about 200 miles on a tank a gas before the light turns on. I saw the tank now costs 1,900$. Seriously considering doing it. I just need maybe another year or so to think it over. Hope it remains this price.

@@tkirk3660 it actually has its own battery. Will last all night on the low setting which worked well inside the tent, then I have it charging in the Jeep while driving
This video is 2 years old and Tuff stuff still haven’t fixed this problem! I just bought the Alpha ll with the annex and the poles are too long to setup like it should, why not just to send a short poles? I don’t like the idea of not running the annex on the back channel, there’s a lot of mosquitoes on my area and that’s a pain in the 🍑 to have mosquitoes on your sleeping area.
Thank you for this setup video, it's solved two issues that I was dealing with with my Ironman 4x4 XTR 71 which is essentially the identical 270 awning. First, I don't have a roof rack but I do have a bed rack. The only tie down point I have to hold the awning out tends to be a little low and so it's a great idea to extend that leg! Second, are the lag bolt stakes that you used. I will be checking out your affiliate link for those. It's a great idea! See, this is exactly why I watch numerous of these videos even when they're 8 months old, you almost always learn something you didn't know 👍🏼 Thanks again 🤙🏼
I've been shopping around for an upgrade from my starter and this tent really checks off the most boxes for me... except for the weight. Holy cow, is this thing heavy!
Wow I missed this comment sorry! It’s from G4free on Amazon. I have a couple of their bags and they have held up really well. I don’t see this exact one listed anymore but they have some similar. It has a couple pouches, plenty of room to carry items and has a 2a pocket as well
