Few days ago there was the Cass review in the UK, which looked at the science and stats of the gender clinics. It states that most kids with Gender Dysphoria grow out of it. These are simply grow up pains. There are wrong diagnosises in these clinics also partly because in lots of these clinics they simply do not care. Also Stuff like puberty blockers is dangerous and not well researched. But i guess Nicolle Wallace is fine with lots of young childeren being experimented on dealing with the consequences for the rest of their lives.
I stopped voting for Democrats in 2000 when I finally realized the deception inherent in the party ever since they pretended it was their party that passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and fabricated the childish tale that the Republicans then decided to become the "racist party". There are obviously hateful people in all ideologies but the "left" has tended to reject the traditional liberal principle of treating people as INDIVIDUALS in favor of grouping them into "good" and "bad" tribes. I can assure you that I am one of a majority of those on the "right" who bear no animosity toward the LGBTQ+ community. Believe me when I say that I also have nothing against drag queen shows for ADULTS. The Democrat party, on the other hand, has infringed on the rights of the individual by rejecting a parent's right to provide support to their own children when faced with the angst and confusion of their sexual awakening. I fully understand that there are parents who would make things very difficult for these children (not just those evil, MAGA Republicans) but there must be some middle ground that doesn't involve surreptitious indoctrination by a teacher or rushing them into irreversible surgeries. I fully realize that I will now be condemned by some as hating "trans" children.

I'm not a Dr but it's obvious that I know more about this issue than Chas. I "follow the science" and the science says boys can't become girls and girls can't become boys. I'm not a Lawyer but I understand that we all have the same rights regardless of being gay or straight. You don't "legislate hate" and if you really want to "have conversations" then you can start by not calling people who disagree "hateful." Nobody wants to prevent an adult from using cosmetic surgery, no matter how drastic, to look however they want. It's when people started targeting children that people like me drew a line. Leave the children alone. By the way, my business partner is gay and he agrees.

One of the things I really appreciate about Pete is he is allowing his husband to go hard after this issue. Pete is clearly prepping to be our president and this could be considered a huge political liability by many. They are betting on taking the high road will work and I think it may well may.

This is a book for all to read. I am the proud grandmother of a gay granddaughter. She is vibrant, loving, very intelligent and giving. She is a social worker for abused children, and her partner is also. Love is love and is so important. Embrace people who have found love and are good stewards of our communities. Thank you Chasten and Pete Buttigieg for being who you are, you just may be changing biased people by your actions, one book and one action at a time.
Because I am gay, I was kicked out of a private school at 16, kicked out of my father's home to the streets at 17, beaten nearly to death at a Whataburger. Title IX is a federal law that was passed in 1972 to ensure that male and female students and employees in educational settings are treated equally and fairly. I am really staggered by the treacly unctuousness of this guy in talking about the LGBT movement and children. I have long supported gay rights, but it's metaphysically absurd that this guy can't grasp why people are in good faith concerned about the transitioning of children. This is all the moreso the case because some of these children are very likely gay, and this is clearly the new "conversion therapy" of 2023 that the fundamentalist Christians committed 2-3 decades ago. The hypocrisy and stupidity are just stunning. Do you really think trans always plays nicely with gay? Always plays nicely with woman? Do you not grasp there are gay teens as we speak being broken into this lifelong therapy, whether it be gay boys being turned to girls or lesbian girls being turned to boys? These woke idiots act like whatever inclination is expressed by a 12-year-old is the final word on what one must become as an adult later in life. There is a complete lack of emotional formation and intellectual sophistication in their arguments.
