I respect the OEM and trust their engineering, I have same double barrel in my car, I stayed on OEM bulbs for 5 yrs, I think the OEM bulbs are good enough to drive but as you rightly mentioned there are cheap people who use their bulbs to spoil others vision. I saw some cab and creta drivers use LED bulbs just to make others blind. I liked this bulbs Sujay, I will get in touch with you once I am in Pune.
I have same engine. I agree 100% with you - why did VW make it so difficult. My older VW Polo is so easy to change air filter here in South Africa. Great clear video - thanks
i’m changing the drivers side mount (exactly the same as urs) and the metal but spins easily inside the rubber mount. is this normal? there’s a few mounts available and this was the cheapest
Hi Sujoy Thanks for the great video and explanation about the fuel efficiency, AT(TC) vs AMT and everything. I am also planning to buy used car for my family and given we are new to driving and hence planning to buy Automatic only. We kept our budget to 4-5 lacs only and for this We are getting Grand i10, Swift, Baleno in options in market. Grand i10 Asta(O) AT 2016 (July) 77K driven we are getting for 4 Lacs. Can you please advise if its a good option to go for or any advise on any other Car Brand/Model. Thank you in advance.
Definitely a good car with most positives mentioned in the video., Slightly lower fuel efficiency. Would recommend getting a transmission fluid, filter change if you buy a car with 77k Kms, since that way, you can easily drive the car without fear of reliability issues.

And yes, about Baleno i have also heard build quality is little compromised. But given that has better seating space and increased ground clearance and plus CVT. I am confused because Safety is also important . Baleno 2017 model 80K driven we are getting for 5.10 Lacs. So what’s your final take Grandi10 Asta (O) AT 2016 vs Baleno Zeta AT 2017. Both driven same Kms. Or if i am not making it more complicated, what about Honda Jazz CVT 2016 70Kms . Btw, Keep making such great videos. Thanks
@gauravarora8435 Jazz is also a good option. Again, CVT will need some care, like a proper CVT oil change, but Honda CVTs are quite good, so shouldn't be a huge concern. All three are good options, Jazz being the highest on safety, followed by Grand i10, followed by Baleno being lowest. City driving wise, all are great choices. Fuel efficiency should be best on Baleno, followed by Honda (similar to Baleno) and last would be Grand i10. If you do more highway driving, I'd pick Jazz over Grand Baleno, but I'd say, all are great choices. Just make sure to have every vehicle inspected by a mechanic, for any potential issues like Oil Leaks, coolant leaks, etc. Get all operating fluids replaced, like Oil, Coolant, Filters, Automatic Transmission Fluid etc and you'd then be overall looking at a reliable car for the next many years
@pranjyotiboruah9325 You can look for more detailed videos also, but you won't be able to bleed the air by yourself, especially with precision, if you are doing it for the first time. If you have air in the system, you won't have stopping power, or basically you'll have no brakes to drive the car around. For that reason, better to have it done with an expert mechanic/garage if you don't know what you'd be doing
Excellent video. Was easy to understand particularly on how to change the engine oil. This requires really some effort and it was shown very meticulously...!
What is better for VW 2.0 TDi between Liqui Moly Toptec 4100 5W40 and Toptec 4200 5W30 which has VW 507 approval?? I am about to pour the latter soon in my Jetta TDI.
@@SujoyShivde But I have checked their manual where they recommend VW 507.00 for flexible service but it appears that VW authorised service stations in India have 507 spec oil never in stock. All the information I have collected so far states VW 507 (5W30) is the oil for Jetta TDI. Even ELSA (workshop manual for VW) recommends 507 oil for flexible service. Could you please clarify??
@moloymitra4164 different markets specify different service intervals. India follows a fixed service interval. Further, 507.00 oils are recommended if your engine has DPF. Your engine does not have dpf. Service center always recommends 505.01 for diesel, which is met by a few 5W-40 oils.
@@aniketmehendale Try and get an OEM Boot camera. Most dealers won't keep this. Would suggest you reach out to a retrofit shop and procure yours. Where are you located?
Sir, I want to buy a used 2020 Polo 1.0 TSI MT, 34K driven with clean service records, all services done at ASC only. This car suits my requirement as I'm a car enthusiast and always wanted to own a turbocharged car. Is the price 7.5L justified?
You can, but ideally the headlight beam should be aligned to the geometric centre of the headlight assembly and the levelling system of the car should be used to move the beam up and down. Manually setting the beam too could result in blinding the oncoming traffic.

But I'd like the low beam cut off at a fairly far distance so I won't need my highbeams much and only use the high beam to make other to get on their low beans and at times use it to see farther at pitch dark conditions. I'm thinking whether to have a fog light bulb that can cover 50-100m and cops won't catch me then

You can find it from Erwin, or try looking for it online. If you look hard enough, you'll eventually stumble upon it. If you still don't see it, send me an email, I'll send you a copy

Hey sujoy. Video was very informative. I too own a 1.0 tsi and got my air filter changed last year. what i figured this week was the rear hose clamp was there but the part beneath was hanging freely (the open part where you had kept the yellow cloth) the car is driving fine but i am not sure if that is supposed to hang loosely. Any idea what that open pipe is called? 7:10 Thanks
Glad you found the video useful. I kept a cloth to prevent anything from falling into the turbo inlet. The hose clamp should securely clamp the air filter box into the bottom part which is the turbo inlet. There should be no gap there. If you see a gap, please get a mechanic to remove the hose clamp, and re-fit it onto the turbo inlet, so that the two parts are securely mounted.
Hello , your video helped me to change. My AMEO’s bulb . But while fixing back the headlights I broke one of the headlights plastic tabs ,any solution how to fix that ?
I have volkswagen 2013 passat. Between 75 miles to 80 miles in high way (freeway) my car shacking and bounce. What do you think bad engine mount or shock up isuues In usa we have miles.
Can be a bunch of things. First guess would be tyres. Try getting them balanced at a tyre shop. Engine mount issues cause a pull, not a bounce. Could also be weaker struts depending on your car mileage, but better to go systematically
I am thinking of doing this on my 19 Polo TDi, running a stage 1 tune from Wolf. My car however runs a lot, approx 25k km annually. So running parts like pads & dics (to a lesser extent) needs to be easily available & relatively cheap. Which OE model brake pads are these? MK1 Laura/Octavia?
The brake disc (288mm) is cross-linked with an Octavia MK1, so should be freely available. The brake pads are the same as the Jetta Mk6, again easily available. Moreover, these should last significantly longer than OEM Polo Pads. Overall, a great purchase.
@@SujoyShivde Thanks. I guess then the calliper assy can be used from a Jetta MK6 (used or new). Only that is a bit difficult to get is the calliper carrier, right? It isn't available in India, as per what my information.!
@chiranjitp8509 yes, that's right. You can find carriers or even full kits from Instagram retrofit shops. They seem to be very readily available nowadays
@@SujoyShivde Also the brake disc part number you shared, was showing available on Boodmo. So even in the long run it should be easily available?. My Polo is a daily runner, around 25k km on average, has recently crossed 90k km.
@chiranjitp8509 The disc should be easily available. There are plenty of importers for these OEM and aftermarket service parts. It shouldn't be an issue.
