My wife has what the medical world in Belgium calls Chronic Fatigue Syndrom for over 25 y now. Since the diagnosis 20 y ago I startet to get interested and thrilled by neuroscience, health and self healing. I ame not against modern medecin but it seams to me that it is to much focused on the material side (left hemisphere) and almost unknowing about the whole humain beeing (right hemisphere) as Frankl already warned for. I myself, also due to the medical condition of my wife, struggled with a depression. This Was the Real eye opener. I started to feel the value of what you mention in your 1st video. Now years later and a lot of effort on my behalf my wife discovers the same things and cvs pain is getting better, fear for pain is less, recovery is faster and profounder. So do not reserved for shearing this. I think it worth doing even when it is interfering with psychiatry and/or psychology, for me it is no more than old wisdom we western people have lost as Cartesians. Thank you.
If acupuncture could adequately treat or cure Fibromyalgia or ME/CFS we wouldn't all be here still in pain and exhausted! I'm so sick of people recommending acupuncture for anything like this. I've had SOME temporary relief from Western dry needling, but still that is treating a symptom, not the source and most of us can't even afford to get it done.
Quack quack. So what did he say about why people that can sleep don't have CFS? Oh that's right, NOTHING! They know precisely sweet FA about this illness but all claim to cure it.
Precisely! I felt so let down in the first few minutes ,I can sleep,in fact I can sleep all the time and anywhere so I am dismissed as non-CFS? Well thanks for nothing Doc....still don't know what's wrong plus the doctor I went to said it is CFS so what now?....
Concerns have been raised about Teitelbaum's financial interests in the supplements and products he promotes for his "Shine Protocol". ME/CFS patients, who are often severely ill and desperate for treatment, have reported feeling misled or harmed by Teitelbaum's approaches. There are concerns that his treatments may worsen symptoms or delay access to more evidence-based care. Teitelbaum has been accused of downplaying the severity and physiological basis of ME/CFS, instead framing it as a psychological or behavioral disorder. This perspective is seen by many ME/CFS patients and advocates as invalidating and contributing to the marginalization of the illness.
With core values of autonomy and protecting my mental health, it was easy to radically accept that I cannot access adequate pain management at the VA without persistent mental abuse from clinicians. I stopped taking my low dose pain medication that helped me function over one year ago and now I'm planning my VSED. Mind the moral injury of denying QOL improving pain management (at best cruel and unusual punishment according to UN & HRW) while offering coping skills to deal with the lack of actual health care.
Arrogant & INCORECT. I sleep for hours...have 2 nights in a day briefly waking between. Had this for 62 years so long sleep is an established BRAIN HABIT
Such a powerful yet gentle meditation which has helped me in different ways for so..oo many years. Grateful thanks for your pioneering work in this important well being work JKZ
'the struggle switch' is one of NUMEROUS metaphors utilized in Acceptance and Commitment therapy and is associated with mastering the art of 'defusion'. Defusion is the ability to master ones thought life by a) making room for painful feelings and emotions as apposed to hopelessly wrestling with them, and b) using self as context to observe thoughts as phenomenological material generated by the mind (if you can observe your thoughts, you cant BE your thoughts) Not allowing yourself to fuse with cognition is a gateway to radical transformation. Defusion is one of 6 core facets of the ACT Hexaflex. The entire system is designed to develop psychological flexibility and stresses the importance of discovering and orientating ones life in the direction of meaningful values rather than wasting time and energy ruminating over difficult experiences.

Guys: I have found that GABA helps me get better, deeper, more restful sleep. Also, with respect to my cellular energy, I have found that NAD+, namely Nicotinamide Diriboside Chloride {I buy the Design For Health one from Amazon because my functional medicine Nurse Practitioner prefers this brand--very good & expensive} helps!!! I find that I have more energy than with just caffeine alone. I just thought that this might help some of you! These illnesse are horrific and we should help each other. May GOD bless you with remission!!! It is possible so dont lose hope!!! 🌻
What do,you mean by "can I get a good night's sleep"? I sleep practically the whole night through, get up once during night, but fall asleep again quickly. BUT i wake up exhausted even when i don't get up during the night. I haven't awakened refreshed for 35 years now, and I crash around d 1 pm beczuse im exhausted and cant keep my eyes open anymore, and sleep for another 4-5 hours, but still can't "get caught up 9n sleep" it seems. And no, sleep apnea is not the reason. I zlways crash hard after even moderate work such as raking a smallish yard. I crash 2 days later, and feel awful for 3-4 days while body is trying to get back to its usual crappy feeling baseline.
Hope I am wrong but…I think big pharma has caused fibromyalgia so we can keep going back to them and filling their pockets. In this day and age there is NO! way this cannot be FIXED!!!!! and eliminated completely. Yes, I too am a sufferer and still suffering from this man made nuisance…you could say I have giving up. It started in my 30s & now I am 70. Tried every thing. Nonetheless I pray you do not give up.🕊
7:26 I've been there. Not able to hold my arms up to shampoo. I used to have to put a pillow under my arms to drive. 3 days now of 600 a day. If I'm not getting the "it's worse before it gets better" thing, should I up the mg? Now, what if my pain is doing better? I'm going to stay where I'm at until something changes. Unless anyone has advice.
I laughed when you said you got roped into doing the webinar, but I want to thank you very much for being such a good sport. It inspired and motivated me.
I've tried about everything by now to get rid of my chronic fatigue after having my colon removed due to ulcerative colitis 4 years ago + severe depression 2 years ago + Covid 1 year ago after which I believe I got CFS and so far had 3 failed suicide attempts. Doctors either don't believe me or don't give a shit and I can barely do any work at work or at home and have aches all over my body. And will try anything this man said during 2024 no matter what. I'll post an update monthly under this message to let everyone know if it is any good. I'm very skeptical though as nothing so far helped but still have a bit of hope left....
@samuelJHolmes thanks for asking Samuel. I am taking exactly what the doctor in this video said for about 3 weeks now and I do feel a bit more energetic, I do have to supplement during week/working days with Ritalin once in a while as I do have bad days where I still have no energy for nothing However coincidentally I was talking with my wife yesterday how in general I do feel a little better. Not very much, but all little bits are welcome. I will at least keep this regimen of taking the following supplements for at least 6 months as I do see/feel some potential: Vitamin D, Omega 3 Fish Oil EPA/DHA, D-Ribose, CO Q10, Thyr (Thyroid) support blend, N-Acetyl Cystene, and additionally because of my previous and current medical problems I do take additionally Iron, additional multivitamin, vitamin C and Tramadol for my chronic pain. None of these substances I am exceeding max daily intake so that should be fine. I must say all in all it is quite expensive, but I see it more as a possible investment for my future. Also I am heavily focussed on working my mental issues with spiritual teachings from various sources, but especially from Mahayana Buddism although I don't focus on the religious part of teachings necessarily, listen and read a lot of books from philosophers like Alan Watts, Eckhart Tolle, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Ram Dass and doctors like Gabor Maté and people like Andrew Huberman, they have helped me all a great deal keeping my positivity up in dificult times. Sorry for the long winded post. I hope in case you're struggling with the same you find a solution soon as well!!
@@aug.jam.1 Really pleased that you have seen some benefit. My mum is the sufferer and I have to care for her whilst doing my job. Desperate to find something that can build some momentum. Did you get the supplements individually/privately, or did you buy the mix promoted in this video?
@samuelJHolmes I bought it all separately through Amazon, some different brands but with the same strength dosage as the doctor describes, also look for his website, I think he mentions it there in a bit more detail. Since I live outside the US it made more sense to me to get it through Amazon due to shipping fees and times. I sincerely hope it has some positive effect on your mother as it is incredibly difficult to live with and also for the family to deal with this situation. I'm wishing your mom and ofcourse yourself all the best from the bottom of my heart and hope that you find a solution real soon.
