Immune system activation by environmental pollutants can cause the symptoms. Lower the levels, symptoms go away. I recovered. You can do. I did a video on this.
thank you for this video it's been a faithful friend for some time now...more so during these last weeks when my functioning time seems to be getting less.& less...I am fortunate in that I still can take care of myself and a small cottage . I have a daughter close by who keeps a beady eye on her aging parent. & You by your saying " It is what it is " has put the ball in our park, giving us the inspiration to find more ways to handle pain, I use music, and pod casts to distract, I can be painfully mindfull in prepping food for my meals I have also in over many years how helpful it is to have a routine to start my day ...Duolingo has a free app where I can learn French and just lately Welsh. what used to fill an hour takes much longer but I still keep at it.....I think the point I'm trying to make is that its up to us we have a choice to participate in each day God willing Thank you John for your books your tapes and for caring
Just tried it for the fist time and I was completely overwhelmd by the feeling of frustration and unrest. Not sure why, but I was in a huge strugle. Wanted to breath heavily, move my body or just plain simple run away and shout with anger. What's going on with me and why? Not sure how I will handle 8 wheeks doing that every day. What is going with me?
The best. Not only the guide: the voice, the breathing... The silences . As in music , cadence❤sorry there is only this. The simple the better. Gracias Maestro🙏
CFS causes bad sleep. Not the other way around. Improved sleep will certainly help but doesn't cure it. It is definitely not "very treatable." When only 15% even have a proper diagnosis it is obviously not "very treatable."
I thoroughly enjoy sharing this guided body scan meditation with others. As a nonprofit organization serving the homeless community in Calgary, BeTheChangeYYC promotes self-care practices like this one. Emphasizing self-regulation and mindful awareness of oneself is crucial for leading a happy and productive life. Validating and acknowledging our emotions, as well as being attuned to the sensations in our bodies, are essential for staying grounded within ourselves. This stress reduction video by the University of Masseuses Medical Centre is truly valuable! Thank you.
Maybe the staff overreacted and gave him the medication before fully assessing the situation. I disdain his diminishing of medical staff “shutting him up” instead of "relieving his pain". Because he had a boo-boo and is psychologicaly easily manipulated is not scientific and is an individual experience. There isn’t enough research on the full effects of this rhetoric but in 2024 we have largely been unable to receive pain meds. Legitimate medical patients with the most painful diseases have committed suicide or gone to the street. As if opioid pain care is wrong, as if to also demean centuries before us.
I have NEIGHBOR problems. Eric was truly the best neighbor I ever had. Of course, it's never been easy to find quiet neighbors in NYC, but they're horse butts. I wish they'd never restarted personal firecrackers in NYC.
My wife has what the medical world in Belgium calls Chronic Fatigue Syndrom for over 25 y now. Since the diagnosis 20 y ago I startet to get interested and thrilled by neuroscience, health and self healing. I ame not against modern medecin but it seams to me that it is to much focused on the material side (left hemisphere) and almost unknowing about the whole humain beeing (right hemisphere) as Frankl already warned for. I myself, also due to the medical condition of my wife, struggled with a depression. This Was the Real eye opener. I started to feel the value of what you mention in your 1st video. Now years later and a lot of effort on my behalf my wife discovers the same things and cvs pain is getting better, fear for pain is less, recovery is faster and profounder. So do not reserved for shearing this. I think it worth doing even when it is interfering with psychiatry and/or psychology, for me it is no more than old wisdom we western people have lost as Cartesians. Thank you.
If acupuncture could adequately treat or cure Fibromyalgia or ME/CFS we wouldn't all be here still in pain and exhausted! I'm so sick of people recommending acupuncture for anything like this. I've had SOME temporary relief from Western dry needling, but still that is treating a symptom, not the source and most of us can't even afford to get it done.
Quack quack. So what did he say about why people that can sleep don't have CFS? Oh that's right, NOTHING! They know precisely sweet FA about this illness but all claim to cure it.
Precisely! I felt so let down in the first few minutes ,I can sleep,in fact I can sleep all the time and anywhere so I am dismissed as non-CFS? Well thanks for nothing Doc....still don't know what's wrong plus the doctor I went to said it is CFS so what now?....
Concerns have been raised about Teitelbaum's financial interests in the supplements and products he promotes for his "Shine Protocol". ME/CFS patients, who are often severely ill and desperate for treatment, have reported feeling misled or harmed by Teitelbaum's approaches. There are concerns that his treatments may worsen symptoms or delay access to more evidence-based care. Teitelbaum has been accused of downplaying the severity and physiological basis of ME/CFS, instead framing it as a psychological or behavioral disorder. This perspective is seen by many ME/CFS patients and advocates as invalidating and contributing to the marginalization of the illness.
With core values of autonomy and protecting my mental health, it was easy to radically accept that I cannot access adequate pain management at the VA without persistent mental abuse from clinicians. I stopped taking my low dose pain medication that helped me function over one year ago and now I'm planning my VSED. Mind the moral injury of denying QOL improving pain management (at best cruel and unusual punishment according to UN & HRW) while offering coping skills to deal with the lack of actual health care.
