Hi I’m Alex, a busy mom who loves traveling. My job as an international buyer has allowed me to travel the world and get loads of experience but my true passion is planning travel for my family of 4. On this channel I will share my best travel tips, my love of Disney World and Universal Studios and my hacks for family travel. Enjoy! (New Video every week!)
Very practical useful cruise tips-thank you so much. I like to feel prepared when I travel. I will definitely use your suggestions on our upcoming cruise.
I suffer with anxiety anyhow but i am even more anxious now being confirmed that i have an allergy to peanuts . I have been given an epipen but i'm really frightened. No one belived my allergy when i was a child having a reaction they thought i was just having a tantrum . Didnt have it tested for years due to a needle phobia . I really struggle to trust people with the allergy due to this .
I completely understand. I also had trouble with a lot of family members who told me that food allergies were made up. They didn't believe me until I had a major allergy in front of the family after I ingested my allergen and then they started to take my allergy seriously. I sucks that it took me almost dying to convince them. Stay strong and be firm with people. Bring your own food if they don't respect your food requests. That is what I did for my son and I each time I went to other people's homes. Good luck!
Great suggestions. Perhaps everyone won’t need everything, but there is cetainly something for everyone. The items I am most glad to have are the reusable luggage tags and the laundry hampers. May I also recommend a collapsible diffuser for those that use them. The blow dryer is usually provided (although it is not always the most powerful) in the cabin. Saves a ton of room in luggage.
Loveeeee this video!!! You had the necessities, options and variety!! Thank you for this video!! I’m going on a 7 day in march 2025 and I’m taking notes right now!
I really appriciate the Winter Park bag video. Temps fluctuate so much in the winter. It is way more comfortable but it can get down right cold. It is easy to forget that if you are watching summer park bag videos. For phone charging-I bought a fuel rod 7 years ago in the parks. It was $30 but I definatly got my $ worth bc you can charge it or trade it. I traded during our time at WDW and brought it home and used it until it wore out. I brought it back 4 years later and traded it in for a new one. Now, I'm taking it back with me in December. I think since you will need a portable charger anyway, they are a great option even if you have nowhere to trade them at home.
Number 1 tip should be check the websites of the countries you will be traveling to. They may require preapproval to bring your drug/cpap, etc…into their country (this takes weeks to get)and there may be a limit to amount of medication…in spite of what this lady says. In some countries you cannot bring some drugs AT ALL so you may not be able to go there. Plus some OTC meds not allowed. Number 2 tip: put meds you need in your primary carry on and not the suitcase carry on. In case they run out of room and force you to check it.
I am very talented and can take off my prescription labels of pharmacy bottles. I use tynole tube bottles and put prescription labels on them. I am a retired CDL bus driver, and I was driving on military bases near me (for drop off and picks up at VA Puget Sound hospitals and 1 of 4 military bases near me) I have also traveled to Canada and Mexico this way too.
This will be my first trip over the weekend and wanted to make sure I have things appropriately organized to make the process go smoothly. This video is detailed and very helpful! Thank you!
Please be aware. Cruise lines like Royal Caribbean not allow any power ships that have plugs. Even if they are without surge protector. You need to stick to USB banks.
Royal Caribbean and. Celebrity do not allow anything with extra plugs, regardless of non-surge protection. They do slip through. But I have had mine confiscated and I went to customer service to verify the restriction. Be prepared. I’m not even taking mine on the next 2 cruises.
This was super helpful Alex. I would be traveling to Spain and have a prescribed set of Pills by my Doctor but they are not in the Original container. Instead my doctor has split them into multiple Plastic sachets for Fever/Diarrhoea/Allergy with a Prescribed Medication along with a handwritten note on them. Would this suffice any security checks at Spain?
Yes!❤ I just ordered the larger one thanks to YOUR review!! I just returned two bags that I couldn’t use for my needs. I’m excited to get this one! Thank You so much! I also Subscribed to your channel! Thank You for all you do. God Bless You and Your Family.
