I remember I had one of the MP3 players (which I never used for music because I didn't know how to use an MP3 player or put music on it) and I have a vague memory of playing the game at a friend's house, and absolutely no other memories of this game. I've never been a patient person so I'm guessing based on this video that I was put off by the loading times.
"not to treat these stories as accurate representations of reality" is like the biggest problem the average redditor has. you can tell someone is reddit-aligned by a hostility to the concept of context and a pathological need to reduce everything down into people to feel good about and people to feel better than. to the average redditor the dichotomy presented between male and female, reason and passion, good cool guy and bad nasty bad one is what they interpret reality through, which is why we use the word redditor to describe someone who's not getting enough social attention and its 100% their fault for refusing to read the room and force the dichotomy onto reality regardless of, well, context.

usually the "unreasonable poc" gets received well if you frame it specifically against south asian men and no one else. it is pretty surprising how much you can say about south asian men on AITA and get away with it because of the stereotypes.

This video made me think about one reddit comment I saw about a father's relationship with his very estranged children. Their mother was dead and he had fallen into hard times and with a bad crowd, so he gave his daughter to be adopted by a wealthy friend of her mother, and his son, to his stepbrother and his wife. It sounded completely real until the point where OP mentioned he had cut off his son's hand during a tense family reunion. Then I realized that the author was effectively describing Darth Vader
