Let's just hope that the repair to the cracked driver center is short lived. Until she is ready, one of the diesels, the one painted like an LGB engine will pull the trains over the rest of this spring and coming summer until the predicted time of repair completion around the August/September time frame. My info came via an FEBT(Friends of the East Broad Top) news letter up date last week.
The wait for 16 to return is unfortunate for sure. LGB engine is a unique name for the diesel 😂. Definitely hoping to see 16 back in action sooner than later.
I filmed directly above the public gravel road to not trespass and kept a safe distance from everything. Not sure I'll ever do it again at tweetsie specifically but it was worth shooting no doubt.
In a way yes. There’s the smallest chance 154 runs this year although I was told by the crew that 203 would be seen in 2024. They will likely introduce summer excursions with 203 again
