I have the same bike. Mine is blue. I love it overall. I do NOT like the location of the ignition key and the suspension at higher speeds. Everything else is tough to beat for the price.
Sick bike! Hope you use earplugs when you ride. Even with the quietest helmets on the market, prolonged wind noise is loud enough to cause permanent damage. Take it from someone with tinnitus, brother! Would love to hear that thing with the baffle out. I know my MT-09 with the Graves exhaust sounds way better without...
I have the exact same bike/exhaust, I had the baffle out for shorter rides but did a longer ride this weekend and couldn’t hear out of my right ear even with earplugs in.
Here in Philippines, the actual engine of cb125 is the same engine as crf 125 and it is called cb125cl it has decent power for a 125 ,it struggle on uphills but on plain its fast.that engine of your bike is used in xr125l which didn't buy much only a few ,but some upgraded it putting xr150 internals and sometimes making it 200 to 230cc .
Alright I’m gonna get hate for this but I’ve brought 2 of these for an experiment and have rode both of them for about 11,000ks total over the last 2 or so years. With one I’ve never done a service (bad I know) and the other I’ve looked after like it’s my own child. And I’ve gotta say there’s really no difference, besides the zero service at 11000ks likes to slide in the rain a bit more. So it goes to show Honda reliability is truely an aspect to look at when buying bikes. I love these bikes and I brought my first one as my first ever bike brand new and am probably never getting rid of it. Has served me to well to want to part. Also just as a quick remark, I’m 6foot1 and about 102 maybe 104 on a bad day and I’ve never had a real issue on the acceleration. When I get I was comfortable I ended up changing the sprockets to help with top speed and acceleration and I genuinely believe that it would take most single piston 250 for a ride any day of the week.
Like your video but be careful when posting illegal things like the Maheno shipwreck it has a big sign saying no one is allowed on it or within 3 meters of it or could be fined.
Thanks mate, I bought the winch and found your video. follow the instructions and regreased with nulon grease. gears were dry as from factory, now runs perfect.
mmm spend the extra would be my advice on anything from Kings, cheap and no quality. if you buy something but then have to strip it down to re grease it or modify it, THAT alone should tell you all you need to know. Buy once buy right👊
A winch should be serviced regularly. Most of the people complaining that their Domin8r failed the first time they needed to use it hadn't serviced it at all. Most other sub-$1000 Winches also fail when they get abused and don't get serviced. Servicing a winch regularly will not only improve it's longevity but will help you become familiar with how it works and improve your knowledge. If you accept that the Wiring and electrical components are garbage and should be replaced anyway, an Albright Solenoid, tub of grease, 2B&S Cable and terminals will give you a winch that is compact, powerful, reliable and inexpensive.
fair comment but buying something and then have to replace half of its insides just doesn’t make sense. A few mates have had these winches and pretty much all failed under load. Just buy a better quality one from the start.
Great video mate - never fitted a winch before so your video was a big help geting it into my 2013 DMax - I bought the extreme version and regreased it before installation as you suggested, unlike your Prado install video I had to cut some steel panelling inside the plastic bumper and some of the plastic bumper which held iup the job - very informative, well done and thanks for posting.
shit, i cant post piccies, but, hey, make sure you pull the motor housing apart and seal the fkn thing properly. i now have a 2 and a bit yr old winch that is nothing short of a rusted heap of metal and corroded aluminum. the winch gear box is fine, the winch seals are fine, the winch barrel and rope are fine. the motor itself, wow. fully corroded and the Super center says, its outta warrenty, so no call backs. the winch was installed as a back up to a road trip for just in case situation. It was never used in anger, never used in any way. it sits on a 120Prado, so you who know them , know the winch sits in behind the bonnet. i decided to do a full Intake refurb, delete certain things and put a turbo boost t in, thats when i found out there were issues. SO, my take on a Dominan8r Xtreme Winch, and the support im getting from the supplier is somewhat shitty. Take care of what you pay for..
cheap and quality are two words never seen in the same sentence unfortunately. Runva are a great winch $900 but bullet proof and will last more than two years.
@@MrJohnno1969 turns out, the second winch, has proven itself well, i took it apart and full serviced it, fully greased and sealed it propper, it works a treat..
Great work lads , there are some great spots out there for sure , I'm definitely guilty of this too but just slow up a little when you pan across while filming on your phone :)
Sold my cb125E recently for a Ninja 250R and I've gotta say as much as the Honda is a great starter bike if you know your gonna ride really sporty motorbikes I'd say get something a tad sportier to start
