Hello Brandon, A simple answer to your question is that it really doesn't matter. However, there is a correct side up. If you look closely at the profile of a slider, the bottom will be a little wider than the top. So, ideally, it is better suited to have the wide side down. But the sliders will do the job either way. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for asking. Best regards, Jeff Dierig SWECO Global Marketing Manager
The vibratory round separators can be used to separate dry particles into various fractions or separate liquids from solids. There are too many applications to mention, but some of our larger markets are food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, minerals, pulp and paper, plastics, rubber, and many more. There are many demonstrations of our separators at work in the SWECO Test Lab section of RU-vid. Please look through the videos and if you have a specific application with which you think we could help, please let us know. Send any questions to info@sweco.com.
Hello Cyron, That video was filmed years ago in our lab in Florence, Kentucky. It would be difficult to ascertain the weight settings at this time. If you are trying to determine the best settings for a machine processing your material, please send me your contact details including your location. I can then put you in touch with the local SWECO representative who covers your area. Best regards, Jeff Dierig SWECO Global Marketing Manager
@@SWECOSeparators hello sir.. we are currently using the xs48 model double deck for Coconut Milk Powder, we are having trouble with getting the best setting for the medium.. the manual suggests to have the setting for the top weight is 11-0-11 and the bottom weight for dry material is 11-30-11... but still we cannot maximize production using the said settings... do you have an email address so that I can send you pictures regarding our concern? Appreciate it if you can give me you email.. thank you... Cyron Bodegas from Philippines

Hello Ganesan, Depending on the motor in your separator and if you have a control panel with your machine, you will be able to control the speed of your separator. Please provide me with your location and contact details so that I can put you in touch with your local representative or SWECO can contact you directly. Ronal, If your separator is producing harsher than normal vibrations, then you need to speak with one of our sales managers, sales reps or tech service personnel to help you to eliminate the problem. Please provide your location and contact details and I will put you in touch with the representative in your area or we will contact you directly. Regards, Jeff Dierig SWECO Global Marketing Manager

Hi. I am writing to you from Turkey. (There may be a problem with automatic translation.) Our company is a gold mine. We are using the Sweco xs60s888 model. While this equipment should work with an average of 4 amperes, the first start starts with 28 amperes, it takes a long time to reach the working amperes and stops. It repeats a minimum of 6 times at night at low temperatures (5°). After 6 times it drops to working amperage. can you help me what is our problem?
Hello Isa. I just responded to your query on Facebook. I need to give your question to our technical service group so they can investigate. But they do not have access to any of our social media chats. So if you could provide me with an email address for them to respond to you, that would be great. Thanks, Jeff Dierig SWECO Global Marketing Manager
Hello Dirk, As your separator ages, there are certainly parts that will wear and sometime change the performance of the separator. Rather than changing the setting of the machine, it would be better to replace the worn parts. One part that is often overlooked are the springs. Your best course of action to keep your separator performing optimally is to have your local agent assess the machine. If you can provide your location and contact details, I'd be happy to put you in touch with your SWECO representative. You can either respond to this message or email me directly at info@sweco.com. You can also visit our website (www.sweco.com) to find your SWECO representative. Best regards, Jeff Dierig SWECO Global Marketing Manager
Wildan, Is it difficult to determine the cause of a screen tear without first examining the screen itself. There are many reasons why a screen tears. More than anything, normal wear during production will make a screen tear. The more abrasive the material, the faster a screen will wear down. Also, accidents happen in a production facility and it's possible that something gets dropped on a screen. This can easily tear a screen. If you can provide me with your location and contact details, I can put you in touch with the local representative in your area and they could help to determine the cause of the tear. @@SWECOSeparators I imagined Schlumberger would be well versed in this since you are also a end-user. I know know Schlumberger is one the largest companies out there that process "waste-oil" or "tank bottoms" as well as dilling and production. What ppm is considered environmentally safe and which chemicals or toxicity is looked at when figuring out which facility to bring the waste to? Assuming "not environmentally safe" where does it go?
@@mobiusprolix8454 Schlumberger is our parent company. We, SWECO, do not participate in the oil and gas world. We work with various industries. I am not permitted to mention any of our customers specifically, but we work in the wood and particle board industry for our centrifuges.
Peter, I couldn't say how fine it is. That was a test run in our lab years ago. Our separators can screen down to as low as 400 mesh (38 micron). Sometimes even lower depending on the material. If you are interested in receiving any material on our equipment, please let me know. Regards, Jeff Dierig SWECO Global Marketing Manager
