In General, Gucci Loafers Age Poorly Even If Take Care Of It. I Have A Paire Of Jordan Loafer In Black Since 2010 In Good Condition But I'm Still Mixed About It. I Prefer Dexter, Sebago & JM Weston Loafers. ❤
@jadktimeless2831: I disagree strongly , I have 3 pairs of Gucci loafers , one even from mid 2000's which have aged beautifully. The brands you mentioned are crap by the way especially Sebago.
So looking to get a brown 1953, in terms of wear and tear is it mainly the sole or the leather itself that breaks. I just don’t want to spend a fortune to not get much wear.
If I’m honest, I would say C & J are vastly better in quality. You can have a C & J resoled multiple times and they will literally survive an entire lifetime.
