I have the 12 generation version it's so good and I like it the performance for the money is insane, even though it costed me 16999 Swedish kronas about 1.6k usd on sale, the regular price is 19999 Swedish kronas about 1899 usd, which is cheaper than many gaming laptops that has similar or even worse performance to this laptop
Heya. It's only mics with a chip on the (rodex mics) I believe you can buy the software that unlocks that feature. But it needs to be a rodex mic for it to work unpaid
Good review! Under 10 minutes shap 👍 that price point is probably the main reason I'd not get it. I want to monitor heart rate for cholesterol purposes and everything seems really expensive.
Glad you enjoyed. You can get cheaper watches that do heart rate. I personally use both but watch is Redmi watch and it's fairly accurate and really cost effective. There is a review of it on my channel too :)
If you want to get one! Discount link: ultrahuman.com/Wootdini Discount code: WOOTDINI10 (Disclaimer: I know it is a discount for my community which is what I wanted, but I am not sure if the channel earns from sales)
Hey If you mean live monitor (like through tablet , phone etc) then yes. You can "stream" as in stream to RU-vid or twitch etc. but there is a live stream available to phone etc (and PC if you use the surveillance app)
hey man could you help me out? i have the mi wifi extender pro and it just doesnt show up when it searches for nearby devices. ive tried everything and i just cant get it to work. also when i scan the qr in the manual it doesnt work..
Hmm that is odd. Have you tried factory reset? There is a slim chance maybe the product was used and setup before. Without seeing or knowing exactly, I can only guide generically
@@WootDini i tried everything and nothing worked. i returned it and when i did even the shops employees couldn’t get it to work 😅 so i guess it was a manufacturing error from xiaomis end
Amazing video! Unfortunately I’m not very tech savvy and PC’s are not really my forte. I have a Legion 5 Pro 2021 with 512gb storage and it’s nowhere near enough. I just want more space and am not very picky on the exact details besides getting the best bang for my buck for the long run . The cheapest 1TB m.2 I could find was the Lexar 1TB NM620 M.2 2280 for about $71 USD. Everything else seems to be above $100. Should I still purchase it or am I really skimping out on quality by going for a cheaper product? I’d really appreciate your knowledgeable advice!
Heya. I think go for the lexar. You are not going to see massive performance differences. I'm also almost sure your device can take multiple nvmes. But don't worry, with the prices of SSDs now , the lexar will be fine
Can I use the ethernet connection for me to connect to the mi extender? I like to connect my ethernet cord from my main router to the extender, does the mi extender still provide internet connection, or does it work?
Thanks for the video, I might to get 512GB version after my 2.5 HDD suddenly fails on me without any warnings or so. Fortunately, I don't have any important data in it.
my repeater (Xiaomi N300) is limiting speed to 10MB even though my connection is 300MB and the repeater is next to the router, I don't know if it's some extra configuration
@@WootDini It's not 10mb static, it varies between 7/8/9mb, and it's not because there's a wall or obstacle, as I tested it next to the router. I tested it on 2 different routers and different internet providers (I have two connections from different providers at home as a backup) and it still doesn't work. Maybe I was unlucky to get a defective unit, but for me it didn't work.
For Collaboration Hey Bro, Lucky here, I couldn't help but notice your awesome RU-vid channel and saw a fantastic opportunity to boost its appeal with stunning thumbnails. With my expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, I can make your content pop! Plus, as I'm just starting out, I'm offering a sweet discount. Intrigued? Let's chat and take your channel to the next level Cheers, Lucky
I use my box with a samsung 7 series tv. If the TV is turned of the box turns off , how do i get it to turn back on. It doesn't respond to the remote when off and only comes on once you unplug and plug it back into the power cable.
5g network as in mobile network? WiFi bands are different from mobile networks. But your original router needs to have the signal for the extender to put out 5g
I am having trouble with getting the extender to connect to my TP Lnk router. its a dual-band 5ghz and 2.4ghz router running DD-WRT. Using the Mi home app it reaches the final step and then fails.
hi i am on tight budget should i go for threadripper 7960x or ryzen 9 7950x ? I am mainly using for houdini unreal engine and blender which one you think is best?
Heya. So this is a tough one considering you need to do on budget. Both will work but consider the following 7960x has vs 4 channel memory 2 24 cores vs 16 Supports 1tb vs 128 (both are sufficient) 128gb l3 vs 64 189gb PCIe band vs 94. So if you need to pinch I would say rather go for 7950x as it's blender is good (have not benched on unreal). The 7960x gives way better "futureproof". Soz man I hope this helps. Either way you will be fine.
Thank you for the review. I am not a computer expert, though I have been building my own computers since the early 90's. I am considering this CPU along with the Gigabyte motherboard to run an astro-photography processing program called PixInsight and I am assuming that the CPU would be just what this program calls for. Can you please give me your opinion as to the suitability of my planned build for running this program. Thank you in advance.
Sorry for the delay. I have never used that program. But from what I can see it's a CPU intensive program so it will work well. It also needs alot of ram which compliments the 4 channels of the cpu
Heya. Hmm. I am not sure about failover. The only thing I could think is somehow getting a pocket router to ether. I don't have the device with me anymore so I can check if you can setup failover
My major problem have been facing now is my router won’t show anything like Xiaomi in all my devices .. and the router is showing the orange instead of white
Heya CAD is more CPU intensive so GPU not that important in that instance. I would look at 12th Gen Intel laptops. An i7 around should be more than good enough and make sure it can do 32gb ram. But this laptop will work for what you need. There just may be better options
Yea it makes sense because x3d is more for gaming and has 2 ccds vs one CCD on 7800x3d. For me I would even choose a 7800x3d rather than 7950x3d. In my test bench I use the 7800x3d for a reason. Good comment
Hello, I seem to have a problem with this router. I bought it to replace the old one I had but the wifi signal seems way weaker than the old one. I barely get 1 bar of signal on the other room even though I also upgraded the wifi speed from 30mbs to 100mbs Maybe I have done something that I shouldnt have when configuring it. Thanks
Heya You can't really configure it incorrectly in a way that would affect signal (unless you have played with QOS etc) Fixes that will work in order of cost effectiveness Update firmware Reposition the device (higher gives it a better range of efficacy) Point the aerials (don't let them touch) Otherwise replace it if store allows. Apologies I did not review the unit, merely did a setup video. Should have checked it
@@WootDini i guess the 100r velox glass front panel is different. Im a few mms tight unable to screw bottom fan while the top gpu aio fan and radiator are secured in place. Also front fans are mounted in the front side. Also a 4090 suprim liquid
1GB per rand bull dust, Really disappointed honestly get no more than 480mbs on read and write, quality seems cheaper than a Chinese product, you can build a faster and better portable SSD
Hey At the time this video was made that was the price. Also I do speak to the transfer speeds. It's capped by Sata speed. At the moment you pay over 1000 for an hdd. At the time it was a great value buy owing to size and price and also physical size. Also it's not always about transfer speed but also transfer stability. You will find high fluctuations on hdd vs data SSD
@TechnicallyRui Where can you get a cheaper ~500gb SSD? For people (like me) who still have devices with usb 3.0, this device pretty much has a similar transfer rate than the usb interface would allow (640mb per second theoretical maximum, although more likely ~500mb per second). So far the best price per GB I could find at ~500GB.
It would have helped if you mentioned this was strictly for gaming in the title. I expected to hear more about productivity i.e., Blender, Rendering, Animating, AE, Premier etc. Now I have to keep searching for if I should buy the i9 14900k for Blendering and some gaming. Good video overall tho.
Heya Saw your other comment re 4090 etc So 4090 will be 100s for what you want to do. Obviously it would be better to have a rendering card like rtx6000 but then it's more than double the price and depending on your situation I don't think it's a worthwhile investment if you have a 4090. Re blender. 7950x3d scored the best I have so far (but that's comparing 13th gen). However I hate to slate products but I would not be touching Intel right now. If you do some light research you will see that 13th and 14th have massive issues which I saw coming. Further their wattage pull is insane which is why I think their failure rates are so high. Irrespective I think you should go got 7950x and if you have the extra and want a boost in gaming go got 7950x3d. Then ensure you have at least 64gb (128 is better for some rendering) but ensure its 6000mts at least. Intel is good for Adobe suite overall but as far as general animation etc , I would go with the safe option in AMD to be honest.
Good review. My parents have been using the 1st gen for years and I have a Xiaomi projector with built in Mi box. Was looking at what is new in 2nd gen.
Heya This is completely dependent on the structure of home. Concrete vs wood etc. General rule is 10m is a safe distance for any construction but it's all dependant
Hi. I have succesfully connected the wifi on my router but failed to connect the next day. I'm having difficulty connecting I have tried couple of times and it say connection time out.
Heya So this generally means a communication error generally attributed to firmware. Either update the firmware and if you have already, then try roll it back. First step is ensure both router and extender are up to date then use process of elimination. First roll back your extender then if that fails roll back router. But before doing the above, do a general restart of both and then a factory reset of both. It's comm error and will be solved with these processes
