Hello, I am Jinlong, the golden dragon! I am an artist and animator!
In my youtube channel, I'm focused on anything involving the art of animation and media! Games, films, and any other strange paraphernalia I come across. Welcome to my lair!
I was trying to find this video and couldn’t remember your username! I’m glad I subscribed back when I first saw this because I thought it was something with “jin” but couldn’t remember the rest. Thanks to the RU-vid subscriber list I found it again!
You know what, Cats is the type of musical that could work with an animated format. I think that Spielberg tried to adapt the og poem it in the 80s bit couldn't do it.
Isn't Tom the director of The Kings Speach? Just know what you're good at and what you shouldn't touch... I think if you really want a protagonist, which is not really fitting for cats, don't make it a heros journey thing, but someone for the audience to introduce the world and themes to. Not Victoria with a whole background story as a new character, but all of the kittens (include Jemima!). Let them experience their first jellicle ball but already as part of the jellicle cats. So they have all the needed wonder, swoon for Tugger, learn about Macavity like in the stage show and try to figure out what's the deal with Grizabella, but still they know lyrics, dance at the ball and we get the feeling of community. We see how Jemima realizes Old D wants Grizabella as his choice and Victoria beeing the one touching her. But it would feel more organically and would get not too much attention, cause the jellicle cats as a group are the real protagonist and we won't lose the vibe.
Wow. She explained the hero's journey better than my online teacher. Like everyone else here, I loved the How to Train Your Dragon franchise as a child, and have low hopes to cautious optimism for the upcoming live-action remake.
I've got problems with how they changed the music, dumbed down the lyrics, and racially-color washed the characters. There's seriously a white = good, black = bad thing going on. "Macavity is a GINGER cat"! It says so right in his lyrics, Swift even sings it that way, but then they black-washed him for being the "villain". Just.... Arrrrg!!! I'm also annoyed they took that sexy duet out when Tugger blends in with Munkustrap for Old Deuteronomy. That makes my ears and brain happy, but- not in this movie. I totally agree about the botching of the Skimble's dance. That man is FIRE and they.... just.... -might as well have been staring at a wall for all the screen time they gave their dancers. Anyway, thanks for making this. I've got my own ramble of steam to blow off about this movie, but you covered a lot of the main points. Cheers!
It's such an honor to have you reply to my silly dance. And yeah I've been going to the gym lately not just for general health but so I can have more stamina to dance in suit lol, admittedly this is the whole song not the usual 2 min cons require
@@JinlongTheGoldenDragon Hey, Jinlong, I'm a big fan of both you and Shade Nocturne. I was wondering if you could collaborate to do a review of the Dragonheart movies, especially the first one.
This is a gamechanger! You're taking the content to a whole new level, Jinlong.🔥🔥🔥 Incidentally, are you associated with the high-quality premium Industrial Grade glycine producer Donghua Jinlong?
@@JinlongTheGoldenDragon Who is Donghua Jinlong? Is he a dragon too? Hey maybe you two should collab with @ShadeNocturne and do a review of some dragon movies, like for instance the Dragonheart films?
@@JinlongTheGoldenDragon I loved your collab with @ShadeNocturne with that Lion King 2019 review. In that video, I commented that Shade looked like a dragon version of Shenzi the hyena from the original cartoon. I was wondering if you two could do another collab, this time a review of the DragonHeart movies. I heard the first two were good, but the newer ones were not so good. Maybe you guys could have some fun tearing the newer ones apart like you did the 2019 Lion King.
It's really great that you're doing so well for yourself and enjoying what you love. You have great dance moves. Did you study dancing at all? If so, your lessons clearly paid off.
Thank you! And yeah I did classes briefly every now and then but mostly I enjoy dancing by myself too and kpop having set choreographies is fun to learn and is a great starting point for who has no dance experience. Same for just dance
That looked awesome to be a part in and am glad that you (mostly--sorry to hear about your glasses) had a wonderful time! I can't wait to see what you have next in store!!!
